Igris walked up to Queseon, rubbing his neck. They were still watching the battles and things were just getting intense.

Queseon and Emperor Cyraeneus immediately felt Igris’s presence when he neared them and could tell that he was trembling.

Queseon stood up and asked, “Are you okay, bub?” 

Those with them turned to look at him and saw that there was something off with him, too. Queseon wrapped his arms around him and hugged him tight. The pendant around Queseon’s wrist that held the ocean’s essence in it wrapped around Igris’s body, calming him down.

Igris’s face scrunched, and he looked up at his father and said, “I think I’ve been out of the water too long.”
