It was the final round of the tournament and everyone was excited, their blood was boiling and waiting for it to start.
Igris took in a deep breath of air as he stood opposite Prince Qaddrintin that had an air of arrogance around him on the ring. The air around the two of them went cold and the silence in the college only proved that everyone was eager to see who would win between the two princes.
Prince Qaddrintin opened his mouth and spoke, “So your wish came true.”
Igris raised a mischievous brow and said, “Yes it did.”
Prince Qaddrintin scoffed, “I must say, you performed exceptionally but I do not think your opponents were chosen correctly, maybe if you faced me in the first round, you would have not made it this far.”
The woman beside him pieced everything together easily and he was still trying to wrap his mind around it.. Igris blinked his eyes, his body turned translucent red mimicking the ocean but still holding his skin colour. His hair danced behind him and a smile played on his lips, opening his mouth he said relieved, “I finally feel better.” Igris’s body was surrounded by a blue hue, his Sun Dragon energy wasn’t present yet but it was there, hidden under the layer of his skin. Looking at Prince Qaddrintin he asked, “Will you be fighting with or without your spiritual treasure?” Prince Qaddrintin narrowed his eyes, “No need.” The two princes met in the middle of the ring and started an exchange of blows. Algin stood up from the old Immortals head and switched his weight from his left to his right. He jumped up and landed and Prince Queseon’s head and said as he looked at him, “It’s over, they are no more fighting, make them take away the barrier.” Queseon looked down at Algin concerned and asked, “Are you certain?” Algin nodded his head, “Mn, I can feel it.” Queseon turned to look at Immortal Gin Havik and asked, “Can you please tell the elders to cease the continuation of the protection array.” Immortal Gin nodded and sent the elders and cultivators a message. They immediately stopped and retrieved their spiritual energy. The frost melted and the ring was revealed.
Igris went on his way and found the home, it wasn’t big nor was it small. Allgin jumped off Igris’s shoulder and landed on the floor after shifting, he turned to Igris then jumped onto Igris and who caught him and sighed. Algin started braiding Igris’s hair and planted flower seeds in it. “I really do not understand why you are misbehaving like this, can’t you just stay small and do it? I can’t see where I am walking,” Igris complained. Algin smirked, he hugged Igris and said, “Welp, I do this to annoy you.” Igris walked into a wall on purpose and slammed Algin against it, looking at Algin with a smirk on his face he said, “Oops, you see there, I walked into the wall because of you.” Algin stared at Igris with wide eyes
Igris rubbed his eyes and looked at Algin who was blushing, “I don’t think we should have seen that,” Igris said.Algin peeked at Igris through his fingers and pursed his lips saying, “It’s what married couples do. You and I are married so why not do it too?”“Don’t be ridiculous Algin,” Igris complained and lied down on the bed.Algin looked at Igris sadly then settled down on his stomach. They both fell asleep and woke up to the sound of Queseon’s voice, “Bub wake up, the next matches are about to start, do you want to watch them?”Igris opened his one eye and asked, “Who is fighting?”“Well the big matches start tomorrow only and righ
Igris was in his own world after reassuring Algin that he would be okay but he was not and Algin knew that well or why else would Igris look so calm when his eyes were glowing with a fiery flame and cyclones in the other. The grand elder hosting the tournaments stood in the centre of the stage and said as he looked at the crowd, “Now everyone, this part of the tournament is the one where everyone looks forward to and especially the clans looking for new talents. Those who did not get a chance to show their talents now is your time to showcase yourself.”He went back to his seat and sat down. Everyone looked around because no one wanted to be first to face some embarrassment. Many knew that most wanted to challenge Igris because of his father’s accomplishments especially after the whole incident of them being kidnapped.
When Igris returned to his seat, he pulled Algin out of his pocket who yawn. Algin smiled at him weakly and set up a barrier around them that he let Igris take over.Sighing Algin asked, “Will you be able to fight without me?”Igris scoffed, “What do I look like to you? Some weakling?”“No, but I know you are not okay,” Algin grumbled and stood up. He looked at Igris and said, “Your elements are going crazy within your eyes and it’s been happening ever since we met your father,” Algin said.Sighing Igris nodded his head, “I know and I can’t seem to figure it out.”Where Queseon was sitting, his hands started sparking with spiritual energy. He raised them
“Look, I don’t know what is happening to me,” Igris said to Algin.Algin looked at Igris and said, “This all started after we saw your father’s become intimate. Does this not mean that that is what your core is seeking?”Igris stared at him momentarily then said, “That thought did cross my mind but with who? All I have is you and I have never experienced love before and the idea of being intimate with someone is outlandish.”Algin grew in size and said as he looked at Igris, “We’re grown ups and if you need something from me, I will do it. We’re partners Igris.”Igris looked at him and smiled weakly. Nodding his head he said, “Thank you but you know how hard it will be for us.”
Igris walked up to Queseon, rubbing his neck. They were still watching the battles and things were just getting intense. Queseon and Emperor Cyraeneus immediately felt Igris’s presence when he neared them and could tell that he was trembling. Queseon stood up and asked, “Are you okay, bub?” Those with them turned to look at him and saw that there was something off with him, too. Queseon wrapped his arms around him and hugged him tight. The pendant around Queseon’s wrist that held the ocean’s essence in it wrapped around Igris’s body, calming him down. Igris’s face scrunched, and he looked up at his father and said, “I think I’ve been out of the water too long.” Queseon raised a brow and said nothing. He couldn’t give his pendant to his son, but other than that, Igris was lying to him. He was long past the age where it would affect him if he was out of the window. Nodding his head, he kissed Igris on the for
