The first thing I met immediately I opened my eyes was Conrad’s worried face, and it got me a little bothered.

Looking around me, I was still on the bed, and I deduced that the effect of whatever they had injected into me, got me at that state.

“What is it Conrad?” Even with the minor pains that I still felt, I managed to stretch out my hands to his face.

Quickly pushing away the frown on his face as if it was never there, so I don’t get worried, “you are awake,” Conrad voiced out.

“Yes!” Though it was the obvious fact, I still said it, then pushed myself up, and with Conrad’s help, I was able to sit up on the bed.

“I am. Don’t I look okay?” Conrad tried to counter, but I was sure without doubt, and I did not need any one to tell me that something was not fine with him.
