Frosty the Snowman

It was freezing when Trisha woke up the next morning, snuggled up in bed with an empty cup that was her attempt at Holly's hot chocolate sat on her bedside.

She yawned, her breath misting as she got out of bed and opened the curtains. The windows had iced over, making it hard to see.

She shivered as she got her slippers and coat on and ran downstairs.

Trisha threw the door open, ignoring the cold blast of air, and stared at the winter wonderland in awe.

"Wow...!" she breathed.

Trisha stepped outside, breath thick in the air as she ran around excitedly.

"Wow..." Lydia agreed from the door, startling the red head.

"Were you there the whole time?" Trisha demanded.

Lydia just shrugged and put her hands in her pockets, the vision of nonchalance, it reminded Trisha of how Lydia used to be. "You should change if you're going to play in the snow."

Trisha huffed and eyed Lydia's red pajamas and winter boots. "You're one to talk."

Lydia shrugged again and Trisha realised she was shivering.
