Rejection

Bella's POV

I ran out of the trial room and saw Lara paying the bill at the counter. I ran to her and said, "We have to get out of here now,"

Lara looked at me and said. "Why are you panting again? Did you see something again?

I said, "No, it's time for college to end. I have to go home now. Let's go quickly."

Lara nodded and paid the bill quickly. Then we left the shopping mall.

At night

I was serving dinner to everyone. When I came next to John and started serving dinner, he touched my leg. I immediately moved away from there.

John looked at me and gave me a dirty smile. Uncle Henry then said, "Tomorrow is a full night, and for this, a festival has been organized in the college. Alpha has asked everyone to participate in that festival. Everyone will pray for our Queen"

Hearing this, Aunty curled her lips and said, "You mean that cursed girl will also participate in that festival?"

Hearing this, Uncle Henry put the spoon on the plate and looked at Aunty and said, "This is Alpha's order. Everyone has to go."

Hearing this, Stella said in a hateful tone, "If this cursed witch participates in the party, then surely some accident will happen. Didn't tell Alpha about this cursed witch?"

Henry said then. "I did but Alpha wants Bella to participate in this festival too."

Aunt Stella got very angry after hearing this but couldn't say anything against Alpha. After serving everyone the food, I entered the kitchen, picked up the remaining food on the plate, sat in the chair, and then started eating.

I don't know why I felt like tomorrow night would be very special for me, I felt like something was going to happen tomorrow. When everyone was done, I quickly cleaned the dishes and went to the store room.

The next night

After everyone left the house, I left the house and started walking towards Lara's house. Lara's house was 20 minutes away from here. When I reached Lara's house, her Mother welcomed me with a warm smile.

Like Lara, her Mother also didn't think of me as a cursed witch. After talking to Aunty for a while, I entered Lara's room.

She was sitting in front of the dressing table doing her makeup. Seeing me, Lara got up from the bed and handed me the dress, "Go and change your dress quickly, then I will do your makeup."

Without giving me a chance to say anything, she forced me into the washroom. I smiled at Lara's madness and changed my dress. After changing my dress I came out.

Lara looked at me and smiled, "You look like Cinderella. Now come, I will do your makeup"

I replied in an annoyed tone, "There is no need to do makeup and you know I don't like makeup,"

But she didn't listen to me and forced me to sit up and start doing makeup. After half an hour, she spoke up, "You can open your eyes now"

When I opened my eyes and looked at the mirror, I was stunned by my own reflection. Seeing my reaction, Lara smiled and said, "I told you. You are looking so beautiful. Now let's go "

Then we both came down from the room. After leaving the house, we entered the car. And the driver started driving. The college was beautifully decorated with colorful lights.

As soon as we entered the party, Lara picked up two juice glasses from the table and handed one to me. "I think I'll meet my soulmate today," She said. Just then, her phone started ringing.

Lara took the phone out of her purse and saw that her Father had called.

"Sorry, I need to take it," Lara answered the phone and went a little further away because of the loud music.

Looking around, I took a sip of the juice when I felt like the skin was bursting and my heart started beating abnormally.

The glass immediately fell from my hand but no one noticed it due to the music. I looked at my hand and saw that my claws had come out and my heart started beating faster because I knew what was going to happen.

I quickly left the college boundary and started running. I don't know how long I ran but suddenly I tripped over a tree trunk and fell. I felt something under my skin was trying to come out.

I screamed in pain, and then my wolf took control over me. Then I shifted. I lay on the grass and started panting. When I heard footsteps.

As I looked ahead, I saw Ryan looking at me in shock. Looking at him, my wolf shouted in an excited voice, "My mate"

Ryan sat in front of me and gently touched my body and I felt tingling all over my body. "My goodness, I can't believe it."

I was surprised to hear his words because this was the first time he was talking to me in a soft voice, but I didn't understand why he was looking at me in surprise. He looked at me as if he had never seen a wolf before, then he said again, "You are so beautiful,"

Then he hugged me. My wolf danced with joy, and for the first time in my life, I felt at peace. I felt so safe.

I felt completely free and safe when he hugged me. He then picked me up and whispered in my ear, "Close your eyes."

It was as if he had hypnotized me. As soon as I heard him say that, I closed my eyes. As I opened my eyes, I heard his laughter and after a few seconds, he said again, "Now you can open your eyes."

When I opened my eyes, we were in a room. I looked around in surprise. He then said, "We are in the middle of the forest. This is my private place. I want you to shift into your human form."

I was a little nervous at his words because if he now understood that it was me, maybe he wouldn't look at me with these warm, loving eyes.

But my wolf happily agreed, I turned from a wolf into a human. My suspicions were right. As soon as he saw me, his eyes hardened.

I started looking for at least some sympathy behind his hardened eyes, if not love. But there was nothing in his cold eyes. My body went cold with fear. Then he hugged me. I couldn't believe that he hugged me, even after seeing me. Maybe he accepted me because I was his soulmate.

I was overcome with joy. I hugged him back then, and I felt the straps of my dress slowly loosening. He was untying the straps of my dress and before I knew it, the dress fell to the floor. I didn't wear any bra.

I immediately covered my chest and then I heard an angry voice, "Don’t hide yourself from me"

I understood that his wolf was angry because I was trying to hide myself from him. Xavier then removed my hand and said, "Don't try to hide yourself from me, you are so beautiful."

Then he started kissing my neck. His touch created a different feeling in me that I had never felt before.

He picked me up and moved me to the bed. I saw that there was nothing on his body. I didn't even realize when he had taken off his clothes. He looked at me and started kissing my neck again. I knew it was very sudden, but my wolf was completely okay with it because the person was his soulmate.

When he pushed inside me, I curled up in intense pain. He wiped my tears and kissed me gently. I wrapped my arms around his neck and immersed myself in him.

In the morning, when I opened my eyes, I looked to the side but he was not there.

When I looked ahead, I saw him standing in front of the window, looking outside.

He had no clothes on, only a towel wrapped around his waist. I saw nail marks on his back.

Then I remembered last night and my face turned red with shame. I wrap the sheet tightly around my body then looked at him and said, "Ryan."

Hearing my voice, he looked back and I was startled because he was looking at me with cold eyes again. He came to the side of the bed and stood looking at me and said, "Last night was a mistake. Forget about last night."

My heart broke as soon as he heard this. I looked at him and said in a trembling voice, "What are you saying? We are soulmates."

As soon as I finished speaking, he burst into laughter and said, "Soulmate?" Do you really think I would accept a cursed witch like you as my soulmate?

No way, you don't deserve to stand by my side." His words were like arrows in my chest. My wolf curled up in pain. I looked at him with teary eyes and said, "Believe me, I didn't do anything. I don't know why my eyes turned red, but I'm not a witch."

He laughed sarcastically at my words and said, "I don't need to know whether you are a witch or not. Just get one thing into your head that I was rejecting you as my soulmate and if you want, you can be my mistress for the rest of your life. The way you warm your cousin's bed, you can do the same to me."

Hearing this, my wolf fell completely silent. I looked at Ryan and said, "I never imagined in my life that you would talk in this way about your soulmate's character"

As soon as I finished speaking, he appared in front of me and grabbed my throat.

"Do you think I don’t know what kind of relationship you have with John? Despite knowing that John has a mate, you still sleep with him every night. John told me how wild you act in his bed. Where are you thinking? I would think you were a virgin seeing this blood stain on the bedsheet. I know you must have done this with your witch powers. It is an honour for you that I want to keep you as my mistress. Because you don't even deserve it."

Hearing these cruel words, tears started flowing silently from my eyes.

I looked at him and uttered, "You shouldn’t criticize my character like this. One day I will prove my innocence to everyone and be your deepest regret"

Hearing my words, he tightened his grip around my throat. I felt the lack of oxygen, but I didn’t show my pain in my face because I didn't want to give him the pleasure of hurting me anymore.

He left my throat and I started taking deep breaths. He looked at me.

"I Alpha Ryan Black Bishop rejected you, Bella Adams, as my mate and Luna"

The last hope of mine died after hearing this. His words stabbed my heart like a sharp knife, cutting my heart into tiny pieces.

I looked at him for the last time. His commanding glare and disgust in his eyes showed clearly that it was over.

I bent my head. 'I, Bella Adams, accept your rejection," I whispered, then he turned away. Tears rolled down my cheek as he started back steps.
