The two girls were entangled in each other’s limbs, sharing kisses and apologies like it’d be the last time they’d see each other. Hollis and Kendra were suddenly fourteen years old again, covered in snow and getting lost in shoving each other. They laughed in a way Whitney hadn't heard before.
