Alex’s POV I was confused, dazed and unsure what was happening. My head hurt; it was pounding so much that I wondered why my Wolf had not healed me. “Where am I?” I called out and then realised I was chained up to the wall with heavy metal chains that rattled loudly when I moved. I roared with anger and frustration. No wonder my Wolf had not healed me. These chains were keeping me from being able to communicate with my Wolf. “Is anyone there” I called out again, but the only thing that returned to me was my echo. I could not remember how I had gotten here or how. My mind was a blank canvas. Victoria’s POV They were getting closer, and suddenly Stacey fell to her feet, landing on something sharp that pierced through her dress and skin, causing her to let out a horrible blood-curdling cry. It sent shivers of dread all down my spine. “Go. Victoria, go. Please.” She begged me, crying her eyes out as she tried to stop the bleeding. I can’t leave you.” I shrieked, trying to help her, but she was bleeding through her dress and getting weaker by the second. “Go. That’s an order.” She growled lowly. Victoria’s POV My vision was all blurry from my tears. I was so mad. How did they do this to me? I lost everything. Alex was mine but not anymore. It hurt so much that he didn’t recognise me. Stupid Eliza! She had undoubtedly worked a number on him. How dare she. I needed my grandmother. “Get out of here and don’t return, you filthy rogue.” Alex’s words had almost killed me, still echoing in my mind. That’s why I was running as fast as I could, not sure where I would end up, knowing that staying here would be no good for me. Soon enough, looks like a small city, and I gasped. This was not just any city. It was a human city. I didn’t know much about it, except we werewolves kept away. I was here now; I couldn’t just turn around unless I wanted to die, of course. Eliza’s POV It worked. She was out the way. Alex was mine now. Thanks to Shane and that stupid grandmother of Victoria’s. Her magic was helping me gain everything that I could ever dream of. Victoria's POV "Welcome, we hope that your stay with us will be somewhat comfortable. Please allow me to show you where you will be staying." The girl who Zane told me was called Chrissy. She could not be much older than me and her face was covered in freckles and her eyes were an emerald green color with bright red lips that seemed to be fixed on a constant smile. I was not too keen on the yellow dress that she wore. It did not suit her, but I did not say a word. Instead, I just carried on following her up the never-ending staircase. "Up the stairs? The lift not working then?" A tall handsome guy appeared at the top with an amused look on his face as me and Chrissy finally reached the top. Chrissy went bright red and looked at the floor, which was a thick black carpet with not even a speck of dirt on it. The walls were painted a magnolia cream colour. ELIZA’S POV I woke up the next morning in bed with Alex snoring beside me . Rolling over to look at him, I felt so lucky to be his and as my luna ceremony was getting closer and closer. I could barely contain my excitement. My daddy would be round today to discuss all the plans and have dinner with me and Alex . He looked straight at me and stood still for a moment. “You have your grandmother’s eyes.” He said. “I am Jacob, an old friend of your grandmother, Ethel. Victoria’s POV It did not take long to arrive back there. I did not need to look out the window to know that because I had that same feeling of dread knotted in the pit of my stomach that had been there the whole time I had lived here. “Come on, let’s get this over and done with.” Zane said to me with an encouraging smile. The sky was covered in thick, grey clouds that chucked down heavy bouts of rain. It didn’t look like it was stopping any time soon. “I found her, she’s down here.” Zane shouted over his shoulder.
