Chapter Twenty

The dawn of the day meant nothing to him again, ever since he joined them on their search for himself, he no longer counts the day, he had lost track of time and maybe faith.

He stretched himself and yawned, rubbing his eyes to adjust them to the rays of sunlight flooding into them.

What does today hold, he thought to himself?

His friend lay beside him, still snoring, he looked around as his eyes were now accustomed to the light, every other person was up.

"Hey," he said as he tapped his friend on the leg to wake up.

"What?" Slurred Gary in his sleep,

"Wake up, lazy ass," replied Alstin, shaking him till he could no longer stand it, he hit his legs so hard, his palm stung.

"What the hell! I am up now," yelled Gary, as he opened his eyes.

"Ouch," he squinted as the rays of sunlight flooded into his eyes.

"Come on, we need to catch up with them," said Alstin.

"Why do we need to go with them, if they have left us then it is a good thing, we can find our way," said Gary, in a bid to g
