Chapter Twenty-three

"Alstin," called out Gary.

His voice was so weak that you would barely hear him, he had been in a coma for five days now.

"Hey buddy, you are alive," said Alstin.

"Are those tears I see?" Asked Gary, trying to put up a smile on his face.

"Come on," said Alstin, as he blinked to stop the tears from dropping, still they rolled down his cheeks.

He hugged his friend, sobbing on his chest.

"I thought you were gone, it has been lonely here without you, brother," said Alstin amidst tears.

"I am here now, not going any time soon, brother," said Gary.

"I missed you," he said.

"I couldn't feel anything then, and I still can't feel anything now, but I did miss you, brother," Gary replied.

"So brother, huh?" Asked Alstin,

"Yea, brothers," replied Gary, he nudged him.

Austin helped him sit up, and that was when he noticed his environment.

It was a big room, fully furnished with a velvet rug, the walls were painted and some carvings were on the walls.
