CHAPTER 2

JACK'S POV:

"Here comes the mafia king! Are you ready?" I can't describe how I felt when I saw people approaching me. They are all members of my organization, and the others are guarding in different positions to see if there is an opponent.

This is the scene that I'm used to. Since then, most of my men in an organization have been doing it. But not in this way. They were only doing this after we had completed our mission.

So, what's the h*ll happened? And why they're doing it?

"Yeah. So, what are you doing here, Giro? You should—" I didn't finish what I was about to say when he stopped me from speaking.

Has he forgotten who I am already? Isn't he aware of the person he's interrupting?

But yeah, whatever!

"We already killed the foe inside. You're too slow, and we can't wait for you. So, we already finished the enemies inside."  I raised my eyebrows at what I'd heard.

I looked at him sharply and quickly moved my right hand. I grabbed his necktie and pulled his head tightly in my direction. I also turned my face to him, giving him a warning look to show how disrespectful he was.

The shortness of breath was evident on his face because of what I had done. But I ignored that; I kept staring badly at his face.

'That's so good! Just feel my anger. Feel how I punish someone who's not giving respect to me. All I want is to execute you. '

"Didn't I already tell you not to mess with it? But what did you do? You're constantly disobeying my rules. You always think that you're higher than me; that's why you already have the guts to forget my laws." There was a mixture of anger in my tone when I sermonized him. The fear was visible to his face.

"C-can't… can't breathe…." He was already begging me to let him go. And he also ignored what I said.

Tears welled up in the corner of his eye. He thinks that I can forgive him instantly. But I don’t even care about him.

He's the one who did it, which is why he's in this kind of a mess. If only his mouth could talk properly. He would not have found himself in such a predicament.

Yes, he is my partner, but he has no right to insult or harass me over something I don't want others to know about.

"The gang leader you've been looking for is tied up. He's inside, king. So can you let my brother go?" I slowly turned my gaze in my right direction.

I saw Gino facing me with his two hands, and they were both open. He wants to stop me from what I want to do with his brother, who acts first on all of my plans even I didn't ask him to do that.

As words came from its brother's mouth, my left brow raised. And my gaze returned to Giro.

I stared for a few seconds at the person I was holding, who was still pale and about to lose his breath. I'm not denying; he's in the last stage of his life. If I don't let him go now, he will say goodbye to everyone and his older brother.

"Tsk!" I sighed and pushed him hard out of my direction.

My men in black took him quickly. But I only glanced at it before rearranging my tuxedo, which had been screwed up because of Giro, the one who is so rude.

After I sorted out the mess of my clothes, I silently walked away from them.

I was close in the front door direction when I remembered something. So I stopped stepping on the cement. And I slowly glanced at everyone again.

I also saw Gino supporting his brother to stand up properly. He's still in a weak posture right now because of what I did.

I suddenly remembered what I had done to my twin sister, Kreiah. I shook my head at what I was thinking.

"From now on, you're no longer my partner. If you don't know how to obey, then better leave my organization. I shouldn't see your face in front of me, or I'd rather kill you in front of your brother. I'm warning you, Giro. You know me, I can ruin your life, and I don't know how your brother will feel. Tsk! " I said seriously and went straight inside of the main door.

A few men in black came with me. I just ignored them because I had a different motive here.

***

"Aren't you going to tell me where that box is? Or I'll do it myself brutally so you can tell me what you know." I coldly threatened the man in front of me. He was tied to a chair and continued to move in his seat.

"N-no… I don't know, I-I don't know." He shook his head many times while mumbling this thing.

"Liar!"

I hold his neck firmly because of anger. He becomes sluggish and has already stopped squirming. But that wasn't going to stop me from touching his neck even more.

I feel in my fist the urge to kill somebody. I'm so mad to find out that this person doesn't even know where the heck that box is.

'Sh*t!'

"B-Boss… he's already dead. He didn't breathe anymore." One of my men informed me about the man I was holding, lifeless now.

I slowly removed my hand from the man's neck. And I see how his hand deliberately down at the bottom of the chair.

I twitched my head at what I saw. I glanced at everyone here and raised my hand.

I gave them a thumbs down. All I notice in them is fear and apprehension at my signal.

"Find that treasure. I'm giving you time and years to locate it." I spoke to them last and began to walk nearby the exit.

I could still see the siblings holding each other hands. It was evident in Giro's face that he didn't want to peek a glimpse at me. Or at least give me one look.

I smirked at what I saw and didn't pay more attention to them. I went straight to my car just next to them.

I opened the door to the driver's seat and went inside. I also started the engine and looked out the window to see Giro's brother Gino reach my direction.

'What's his problem? Argh!'

"Boss, what's the news?" He immediately asked me.

I just shook my head at his question and did not speak again.

I started to drive my car, so Gino left the window to let me out. I didn't even bother to glance at them all. The only thing I looked at was the road in front of me.

When I made sure I had nothing to pass by, I drove quickly in the way of my house.
