CHAPTER 3

JACK'S POV:

"Hey, Jack! What's wrong with your face? It was as if heaven and hell had fallen on you. Oh! You've been in hell for a long time, haven't you?" I looked sharply at Froyd, "It's just a prank. Can't you laugh at my jokes? What happened? You look like you're going to kill someone?" He added to what he said.

I had only just entered the house when his voice rang out in front of me. I hadn't even had a chance to catch my breath before he spoke. I sometimes wish I could smear his face so I wouldn't be able to hear the voice of a frog. He's constantly upsetting my peaceful life.

But no. I don't want Froyd to reveal his true identity. I'm not afraid of what might happen; I don't want to believe things I don't think are true. Why is there anyone like him in the world? I'm not against him. I'm just worried about this guy. He is still a fool.

Then I also remembered that my mom told these stories too. And I hate it! I dislike remembering that day—that f*ckin' precious of my life! Tsk!

"Don't talk to me right now. I'm not in a mood." I said coldly to this young man.

"All right! I'll be quiet!" he said, but I wasn't paying attention.

I walked directly to the long sofa. As I approached the chair, Froyd was right behind me, studying how I moved and acted.

But I didn't spend any interest in him anymore. When I arrived at my destination, I was free to sit down. I also crossed my legs while my right hand held my forehead.

I'm wondering what or where is that box? And where exactly is it located? That box is precious to our clan… to our family.

Since we had lost two significant people in our lives, that's also where I started looking for the missing Tomizara Clan items. They believe it was either hidden or stolen. That is why my father wishes to find it in exchange for my freedom. I need my right to do what I want, not what he tells me to do.

I prefer to live without thinking about anyone else. I want to do it for my reasons. Not to other people, especially not to him. I hadn't communicated with my father in a long time, but he sent people to say what he asked.

'It's annoying, you know?!'

I'm curious about what's inside that box. What prompted my father to ask me to look for it? Is it essential for them?

"Haist!" I sighed annoyingly to myself and sat down properly. I even heard Froyd's weak voice.

He'd just gotten back from the kitchen. He raised an eyebrow at me while holding a cup. That was something I ignored. I let him do what he needs to do.

I noticed him walking straight in my direction. Bend down slowly to place the cup on the table in front of me. I just stood there watching him move until he finished and sat in the other chair. He crossed his arms at the same time. I winced at what I saw before thinking of taking the cup and blowing it because it was still hot.

"I'm guessing you have a big problem? Is it because Kreiah left and went to Japan?" I looked at Froyd sharply.

I even checked the rest of the house to ensure no one was there. Rizhui occasionally appears out of nowhere. I then returned my gaze to this man. I was seeking something to hurl in his face when I realized I couldn't find anything. The pillow was taken away by Froyd, and even the vase with a fake flower on the table is gone too.

'He already knows exactly what I'm going to do to him. Huh?!'

"Don't be so high! Chill, Dude! Chill!"

"How can I cool if my father's want me to find that f*ckin' box? Tsk!"

"You can ignore him. That's what you always do when it comes to things you despise. As far as I can see through your face…  you want to know what's really inside that box. Am I correct in my prediction?" He even raised his elbow to his knee.

While resting his chin on his outstretched palm, he was still smiling as he moved his head up and down in front of me without blinking his eyes.

When I see him like this, it's as if I'm watching Weirdo TV shows. I couldn't understand, and no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't even imagine what was going on. That's bizarre! Strange! Tsk!

"What are you doing? Stupid!" I snarled, dropping the cup I was holding onto the table.

"Oh no! Oh no! Oh no! You're ruining the moment," he sighed irritably and sat adequately again.

Now he looks like a man because of how he sits appropriately. But I was wrong.

'What else can be expected of this man?'

He even crossed his legs as I did, "Are you mimicking me?"

"Why? Is that bad?" He asked me bluntly. And he even puffed his cheek as if making him cute in front of me.

'That's gross.'

"Tsk!"

That's all that came out of my mouth before I shook my head. "Wait…" I stared at Froyd maliciously. I stared at him, so he swallowed several times.

I watched his adam's apple go down and up when he swallowed. My thoughts just shook me before glancing out the window in my left direction.

When I noticed it, the moon had not yet reached its complete phase. It's also close because the moon will become full in a few days.

I returned my attention to Froyd. When I put my face in his direction, he sweated even more. I placed my two palms on the table to slow down and prevent myself from falling.

"W-what?" He asked me a hesitating question that made my mouth broaden with a grin.

"Tell me the truth," I locked my gaze on him and even moved my face closer to him. However, he abruptly moved away and held himself tightly.

"Don't!"

'F*ck!'

"Are you gay?" I finally asked this question. I watched as his tiny eyes grew larger and his mouth joined.

"WHAT!!!"
