“Are you from the pack?” asked Hero. “I’ve never seen you before.”

Ophelia felt sudden alarm at Hero’s words, though she knew he meant no harm by the question, she couldn’t help but break into a cold sweat. She didn’t dare to spare a glance at Noah, the ocean-eyed boy was holding his gaze firm at her.
