O'Connell, due to the heartache he was still carrying, decided to follow his paternal grandmother to London for a few months. His paternal grandma Estella, who still had the body of a young lady, despite being fifty-nine, was a retired model, who owned a modelling agency in London. The woman resided both in London and in Nigeria. So the time she announced that she wanted to leave for London in a few weeks, O'Connell told her he wanted to tag along with her.

 Meanwhile, Marguerite, O'Connell's mom, didn't go well with the idea, because she was nursing an infant, was busy with work at the hospital, and had two other kids to take care of. Thankfully, Raymond, O'Connell's dad was around. So he told his wife not to worry, that he would hire someone, for the time O'Connell was away. Because he knew that O'Connell needed a breath of fresh air. Though he was still disappointed, but was fully aware that his first child was still very heartbroken.
