The first thing that hit him as soon as he opened his eyes was the foul stench that greeted his nose.

Kai tried to move his hands and failed. He'd been tied, he could tell by the ropes that were cutting into his skin.

No, not ropes.

He had been chained. As he moved his hands around the heavy metal that had been used to pin the both of his hands a sharp pain suddenly built in his body.

He remembered at once. He'd been shit twice; one on the stomach and another on the shoulder.

Kai winced at the pain in his shoulder and he tried to tug against the chains.

The bullets that had been used to shoot him weren't ordinary bullets. They had been dipped in wolfsbane.

For now it was temporarily stopping his powers from activating and healing his wounds.

He needed to get the two bullets out of his system at once if he stood a chance of escaping from this place.

Kai sniffed the air around him and wrinkled his nose. His face had been covered with a dirty sack bag.
