Chapter 10: CHOICES

Joanna's POV

When I woke up beside Chris that morning, by impulse I desired to escape from him for no reason, but I fought the urge and stayed. I vowed not to run away from any situation in the future.

This is the last month I have to live in this world and spend time with the people that are dear to me. Last night, I did what the old me wouldn't have done in the presence of Axen.

I'm sure her intentions were out of this world but I shocked her and did what I wanted with Chris without feeling embarrassed or remorseful. She planned to ruin my moment with Chris, yet I proved tough enough to not give in.

Sighs... It will be a hard time for me because Axen will be all out to destroy my happiness, still, I won't let her have her way as she did with the other girls he had a fling with.
