After the incident at the training ground, the rest of my day was spent holed up in my room. I have to admit, Kelly's words hit me hard. I thought everyone liked having me around, but I guess I was wrong.

I was born into privilege, something I've always been thankful for. I never felt the need to climb the ranks, as I was quite content with the life my father had given me in Blackmoon. Becoming an alpha's mate was never my choice. In fact, I wasn't even interested in finding my mate. The life I had in Blackmoon was fulfilling enough.
