Chapter Twenty-Six

Because I passed on shifting my energy frequency to see him, I was able to engage in conversation with my great, great, great grandfather for the majority of the evening.  With Kenzie just as interested in learning about my ancestry as I was, the time was filled with questions as it passed without us feeling it.

We saw no sign of Noah, Oscar, or any of the pack. Logan checked with the people on his side of the veil and was told that a few of Noah’s most trustworthy pack members were standing watch on the perimeter.  The rest of the pack was far off on the other side of the mountain hunting.
