Chapter Forty Nine: Silver

JD had to help me get back to the hideout to safely hide the fact that I'm alive. The whole nation is put on edge as the dragon clan's eldest died- I am indeed the most powerful and the one the prophecy said so.
But knowing my death is what's putting the war on hold- the dragons are mourning as the other creatures are prepping to take back the title of strongest.
JD protested, "What the hell were you thinking? If anyone else saw you-"
"But no one did."
"IF they did!" JD continued with a sharp tone, "You're not even strong enough to take care of yourself, if the creatures found out that your death is a lie, they'd challenge our clan and we will be obliterated so don't go wandering off and worrying about someone else when you don't even have the strength to protect yourself."
