Chapter Twenty Eight: Actuality

I called the last person I'm supposed to but I couldn't trust anyone. I called JD after Lyanna left. JD came in a hurry in his dragon form. He transforms back to his human form and pins me to the tree in fury, he demands with his eyes glaring right at mine, "Where the hell is she? What did you tell her?"
I glared right back to him as he lets me go. It's a dragon thing. Our eyes holds our potential and the weak instinctively surrenders to those stronger. Even an ant who's about to be squashed knows to run away.
JD falls back as I said, "Don't you dare do that again, older brother."

Lyanna StuartAs the next morning came and I lay down my bed for a couple more minutes after the alarm goes off. I hastisly took a bath and changed into a new set of clothes. I still could not believe everything from last night. If anything, it felt like a vague dream to me.It breaks my heart so much and I hate how I'm the only one feeling this way. I headed to the training quarters and spar with the instructor. She taught us combination moves both in offense and defense but my head was elsewhere.I was easily knocked out of the combat ring. That damn gorgon's too quick-witted and I know she's been planning on burning the book but she feels guilty because she knows that the book is the only way to save JD.Without Lyanna creating a ruckus, I couldn't kill her.
