Arthur Langdon
After flying for a while, I found a safe place to drop Lyanna off and transformed back to my human form closing the buttons of my shirt. I asked Lyanna, not sounding too concern because I didn't want to alarm her.
It's the last thing I want to do. The way she is right now with Raya, Lyanna is a giant ticking bomb and every step is a landmine. It's crucial that she continues to believe that abstract idea. One that JD orchestrated along with her father.
It's their futile belief and effort that got us into this mess in the first place.
But... it's what's saving our asses also.
"Do you want to talk about it?" I asked but there was no response, I looked at Lyanna and saw her expression. She seems pre-occupied with her thoughts so I drew my face near her to ask again but before I could even say anything, Lyanna hugged me.
Arthur LangdonI called the last person I'm supposed to but I couldn't trust anyone. I called JD after Lyanna left. JD came in a hurry in his dragon form. He transforms back to his human form and pins me to the tree in fury, he demands with his eyes glaring right at mine, "Where the hell is she? What did you tell her?"I glared right back to him as he lets me go. It's a dragon thing. Our eyes holds our potential and the weak instinctively surrenders to those stronger. Even an ant who's about to be squashed knows to run away.JD falls back as I said, "Don't you dare do that again, older brother.""You're the one who called me here." JD says, "I don't see any wolves around so you know I'm not against you.""I'm not entirely sure at first but I figured you don't suck at sneaking out and you don't let me catch you but these p
Arthur soon returns to the academy without any memories of what just happened and what got discussed. Lyanna happens to wake up in the middle of the night sleep walking as usual.Arthur LangdonUpon seeing Lyanna sleep walk, I immediately went towards her. I gently place my hand on her forehead so that she can avoid hitting the door then I swiftly sweep her off her feet and carried her in my arms.Lyanna was muttering in her sleep, "They do. Dragons exist."I find myself letting out a small chuckle as I remarks, "What a fascinating dream you have, little lady."I carried Lyanna all the way upstairs back to her room and just when I was about to leave. Lyanna asks in her sleep, "I wonder what their weakness are?"I flinched and looked back at her. Seeing her still asleep, I hesitantly kissed her forehead and whispers, "You Lyanna. Literally and figuratively."
Lyanna StuartI smile as despite knowing the fact that Arthur will soon disappear on me too. He didn't even lie to make me feel better. I am going to do everything it takes to live and I know Arthur will do everything for Raya. Our fates are interconnected but we have different goals.I fade into the background as I fought the urge to frown. I smiled finding it harder and harder each day to accept the fact that we will eventually walk different paths- and possibly be at each other's throat at some war, "I'll see you later, Art."I wonder if I can continue loving him in secret.I would want to.Arthur looks at me confused but he didn't say anything. We went back to the academy and just as soon, Arthur soon leaves without saying anything. I found it... a little odd. He leaves so abruptly without even gla
------Skye then leaves their hideout and proceeded back to the academy, to her surprise she sees Lyanna.Lyanna tiptoes her way cautiously to the room where JD was taken. Skye instinctively hides herself using another's identity- the librarian. It's her favorite disguise. It will only be a matter of time before Lyanna gets suspicious of the libraria.Skye smirks as she remarks to herself, "I knew we couldn't use the fact that JD killed her father against him.""That plan is sure to failed. We can't take control of a narrative against JD because he's been Lyanna all her life." Skye glances at JD who's in bed through the window, she whispers, "So I just had to... quiet you down."After all it was Skye's plan.Everything was. She's a vicious manipulator. She knows best how to use one's emotion against themselves. Skye stayed f
Lyanna StuartI can't underestimate the spy. Who could it be...? Why must they go through all these things to kill me? Why would the witches want me dead? It just... doesn't check out. The witches need to keep me alive so why would they kill me?Unless... the goal wasn't really me?Was it really JD?Why?Does this have anything to do with being his bride? My mind is a mess with all the information Skye told me. Still- I can't possibly believe everything that Skye just told me. For all I know, this is part of their plan. I need to be more wary of her.Just because no one else told me the truth doesn't mean that she told the truth.Skye scoffs softly as she keeps her distance, she mutters, "It's okay if you don't trust me. It's really hard to believe someone when you've been lied to
Lyanna StuartAs the next morning came and I lay down my bed for a couple more minutes after the alarm goes off. I hastisly took a bath and changed into a new set of clothes. I still could not believe everything from last night. If anything, it felt like a vague dream to me.It breaks my heart so much and I hate how I'm the only one feeling this way. I headed to the training quarters and spar with the instructor. She taught us combination moves both in offense and defense but my head was elsewhere.I was easily knocked out of the combat ring. Some girl hit me hard busting the corner of my lips. I spits the blood and stood up only to get beaten up again and again. I was really out of it. The trainer losses her cool and scolded me, "Lyanna, if you're not going to snap out of it, you're going to be beaten real hard. All magic are nullified in the ring, you'll have to rely on your strength alone."&nb
Skye BloomAs planned, Lyanna made quite a ruckus as I successfully copied the librarian's fingerprint. I actually had it quite a while but I needed distraction as I killed the librarian for good. That damn gorgon's too quick-witted and I know she's been planning on burning the book but she feels guilty because she knows that the book is the only way to save JD.Without Lyanna creating a ruckus, I couldn't kill her. Lyanna's been too concious of her and the idea of the librarian suddenly dying won't sit right with her trust issues.I know how that gorgon fancied JD. I just needed to finish JD off. The gorgon can't destroy the book and Lyanna will obtain it.It's a win win situation for me.Emotions and attachments are such a drag.I scoffed as I discreetly pulls her dead body inside the library and locks it. I placed her body ca
------The headmistress frantically makes her way to the library. Discreetly announcing that the library is under maintenance due to Lyanna's rampant display of powers. Her heels tap through the floor and she smoothens her clothes with her hands. The headmistress stands outside the library and clears her throat.Skye smirks as she remarks upon meeting the headmistress, "You took your time.""Are you insane? You're too reckless! We can't risk anyone finding out about our connection. The academy's already facing too much issues." Headmistress scolds as she pushes Skye inside and uses her ability. The headmistress gracefully wields her hand in the air conjuring her water element in a form of liquid mercury and solidifies it to lock the door. She continues, "You can't pull this kind of thing again, Skye! You didn't even told the witches about your plan of
