“Something must kill a man, they say,” Sarah said. She snickered a little then after some seconds, let out a loud laughter that caused Harold's heart to clasp tight as it beat fast. The laughs continued for about ten seconds non-stop, reverberating off the wall. “This time,” she continued, “it's mistakes that'll see the end of her.” She was referring to Trisha.

She watched as Harold and Penelope ran to where Trisha was. Derek remained with Wilkes but had his gaze on Trisha.

She could easily knock them all out. They were inexperienced. That was their greatest disadvantage.

From where she was standing comfortably under the light that bath her from above, she folded her arms into one another gracefully the way a queen about to address her subject will, and watched as Harold knelt beside Trisha.
