You know it’s rude to eavesdrop on another’s conversation, right?” Gwaine said as he entered the room again.

The Alpha was surprisingly looking calmer and he wasn’t breathing fire and stones like I had been expecting he would be doing after coming into the room so angry initially.

“What did you do to him?” I asked immediately, eying him suspiciously.

I saw a flash of gold run through his eyes but soon it was gone. His face remained in a rather surprising blank mask and he gently shook his head before moving to replace Regan in the seat besides my bed.

“You just met him. Why do you care so much?” He asked, but there was no hint of bitterness or anger in his tone, just curiosity.

I followed after him, moving to occupy my spot on the bed. I didn’t know how to properly answer his question. In truth, I didn’t really care so much about Regan, well not as much as the Alpha was assuming.
