The three of them walked up the stairs noiselessly, chattering on about what their going to entail. They had cut up a platter of fruit for Alpha Amal ,and his breakfast the way Elan and Nora suggested. The fruit juice was in a jug set in a pitcher of ice, so that way he could have the juice chilled. When they arrived up the stairs and took the 2 minute walk to his door, they knocked and waited for any sound before going in. He had woken up and left his bed sheets tangled, so Charity broke off to smooth over the sheets and lay them back. There was also a glass of water on his bedside that she picked up, handing off to one of the other girls.“Come,” ushered Nora. She had been in charge of organizing the food on his table before he came out of the bathroom, so she was out on the terrace. “What's up?”“I can't get the flowers to stay up. They keep falling over. ”Grunting, Sam took over that part of the setting up, fidgeting with the flowers till they stood right. She was focused so
After the massage, she ushered him into his walk-in closet, barely sparing the door that led to her room a second glance. She had locked it from her room, so even attempting to turn the knob would have been a waste of time. Inside his closet, she opened all the closest until she found what she was looking for. There on multiple hangers were a couple of long sleeved work shirts, and they were color coded and arranged by size. She picked up a bright orange one and turned to him with an impish smile. “Where would you even wear this to?”He colored a bright red, his cheeks puffing up into small round balls of flesh. “My mother gave that to me!” he exclaimed, snatching the hanger back and returning it to the wardrobe. Giggling, she took out two long sleeved shirts in blue. “Why did you pick those two shades?”“So you can pick one.”“No, I meant the color, Sam.”“Do you not like it?”“I have no problems with it, I'm just wondering…”“They match your eyes sir.”Why had she said
Sam listened intently as Charity narrated the things that Alpha Amal had done because of her. “Okay, so the day they got back with Alpha Amal, he asked to see the brown -haired girl. He said she had saved him and fed him to health. He described an angel, and I guess you look somewhat like her, but he described her as taller and wide eyed. But his parents told him he was delusional. They practically said that he was hallucinating, and that you had kidnapped him. Since the royal doctors announced that he could not remember the way he was kidnapped, his partner along with the elders got together and decided not to tell him that he was in the middle of a fight and training session with some of the members of the royal guard. ”“No way!” exclaimed Sam, her palm flying to her mouth. “Was it one of them?”“We don't know that!Anyway, they had also announced that they found him at that house unattended and then you came forward holding a knife, some twigs and a handful of fruits. They sai
In the car, Sam sat in front and stared out of the window. It was not too long a drive, but from what she could see, making the trip on her own would be hard and she would be walking for hours. The roadsides were well maintained and she admired how clean the town seemed from outside the car window. Charity pointed out different parts of town proudly, showing Sam the home she was so proud of. She pointed out the town hall, a large duplex painted an unwelcome shade of brown. Sam giggled when a memory of her town hall surfaced in her mind; the letters of the sign had fallen off and it looked like “O N A L ” and it had been funny. She used to laugh at it with Derrick and point out that it needed to be fixed up.Guiltily, she remembered that Derrick was no longer alive and that there was no reason to be laughing, so she stopped, the car ride falling back into an awkward silence. Wanting to ease the heavy tension, she pointed at a big house and asked who owned it. “This house is beauti
Alpha Amal's POV.As the girls got down from the car, he sat in the driver's seat and watched them excitedly take out the bags. He could not look away from the wide smile on Sam's face. In just one day he had lost almost all his reservations about having an Omega like her for a partner. He fondly thought back to earlier that day when she had come to his door. He was fresh out of the shower, and perhaps he shouldn't have opened the door, but somehow he knew it was her. He did not want to keep her waiting, so he wrapped a towel around his waist and opened the door. What he had not expected was that she would fall down at his feet. She had probably been at the front of his room with her ears at the door. He made a point not to smile too long for fear of making her uncomfortable. Helping her up, he had asked her to come in, waiting until she had walked in to shut the door. She walked straight to his closet, and he loved how confident she had gotten. He was surprised that he had met h
He snapped back to the present because the girls had finished taking their things out of the car. Sam had come over to the driver's side and launched at him with a big hug. He didn't realize when he wrapped his arms around her body, welcoming the comfort it brought. The front yard was quiet as there was no one there, so they both melted into the hug. When she pulled away, he missed the warmth of her body and he looked into her eyes, staring intently.“Thank you,” she said, her eyes swimming with fluid, “thank you so much sir. I had the best day ever! And Charity, oh, sir. Thank you so so much! I can't believe you let us spend so much!”Quickly, he gathered himself. Had she seen the receipts or price tags? He thought he had asked Eileen specifically to hide the tags!He recovered fast, smiling wide, “it was my pleasure.”She ran into the mansion to sort out her things and he followed behind to help her carry some of her things. At her door they went separate ways. It was a few minu
News about our arrival spread through the mansion and she handed Charity her keys so she could go ahead with some of the bags. She needed to thank Alpha Amal for his generosity towards us. He had paid all the bills and had made sure we were well taken care of. If that wasn't worthy of thanks, she wouldn't know what was. I went over to the driver's side of his car and opened the door for him to step out. The instant he did, she launched herself into his arms for a hug. It felt nice, her skin on his and she didn’t want to let go. Besides, he held me too, and the feeling of our skin against each other made me feel like we have built a connection. “Thank you, “she said as a smile lightened up her face. She had no idea what his reaction would be but she persisted. In the place of the hostile reaction she expected, he thanked me instead and said it was his pleasure. Satisfied, sheran inside, grabbing as many of the bags as he could. her arms were small, so a few were left behind. S
She also tried on the rest of her dresses for the girls to oooh and ahhh at. Satisfied with their reactions, she had Nora and Elan try on the things they had gotten too. By the time they had finished their fashion show, they were all exhausted and on the brink of fainting. Elan and Nora had fallen asleep in a heap, so Sam gave them a blanket over both their shoulders, making sure their feet were covered too. Exhausted, she pulled the duvet over her body and Charity's, dropping asleep almost immediately. Sam woke up with a shock, gasping for air. She had been dreaming about driving a car and falling off a cliff. She had no reason why she would be dreaming about driving or cliffs, yet the dream scared her - it was so vivid. She looked around and saw Elan and Nora, still sleeping, and by her side, Charity snored. She got up and moved her curtain aside, realizing that it was still dark out. Outside her room, a low light flickered on and off, and she turned to look at the bedside cloc
