Chapter Thirty Six

I remained in my room and hid under the sheet even after the Alpha left until the light shone on my face the next morning to indicate the break of day.

The anger I felt towards the Alpha the previous night still lingered in my mind the next morning, it made me grudgingly stay back in my room for several hours.

When I finally left my room, the palace was already bustling with activities. But then I noticed something about the maids as soon as I stepped out even though it was quite usual for me to see the maids huddled together like that most times of the day, this time around, it looked like they were talking about a more prominent event that took place over the course of the morning.
