'I don't understand. She's not our mate.' I hear his wolf. "You're right. I'm not your mate. But I also don't know why I can do certain things and this is one of those things. All I know is it started happening after I left my pack." I explained.
I don't know how long we have been sitting here but it's currently dark outside. My eyes are fluttering closed as I feel my head bobbing. "Why don't you go get some sleep." He suggests. "Yeah. I will. If you want you can sleep on the couch. I know you've been sleeping in that cave along the river." I offer him. "Oh. Uh. Okay thank you." I hear him as I'm walking up to my bedroom. "I don't know why I invited him here. Maybe I'm just lonely." I said to myself while climbing into bed. I'm just starting to drift off when I hear a loud crash downstairs. I jump out of bed in a hurry, running downstairs. "Lyle!? What are you doing here?" I scream out. "Why hello big sister. It's so nice to see you again. I just didn't think you'd be whoring it up with Alpha Cain when I found you." Lyle accused. "That's not what's going on Lyle!" Alpha Cain spat out. 'Hmm so he's Alpha Cain. I never would've thought.' I mentally said to myself. "Either way, she's coming with me." Lyle said with a smirk as two of the wolves from earlier came out of the shadows and injected something into my neck.
"I'll kill you Lyle! Leaver her alone!" Cain screamed as I fell unconscious.
