NORA'S POV

I tried as hard as possible not not let the fact that I was beginning to panic show. I still haven't found Duke and we have been searching for him for almost 20 minutes.

" Hi Vera, did you see the kid that came with us?" Jade asked one of the volunteers

" The kid...oh yes I saw him playing with some of the children awhile back " she replied Jade

" Yea.. we saw that too but... now we can't seem to find him anywhere " Jade said to her

" Oh I'm sure he is somewhere around... there's no reason to panic " she replied Jade as I began to walk away with Jade following behind.

"Duke.....Duke!" I called out loud. Where on earth could he be? At this point a thousand and one things were already beginning to go through my mind and the more they come the more scared I became.

I really don't know what I'd do if something were to happen to my baby. He is the reason for my living, he is literally my everything and if something bad happens to him only God knows if I'd be able to handle

    NORA'S POV I brushed off the hair on Duke's face as he turned beside me. He had dozed off as soon as we landed at the airport in Del Mar and right now we were in a cab heading for my father's house. He had been surprised when I told him that we would be taking a little trip out of town. This was the second time he'd ever get on a plane so he was very excited about it especially since I told him that we were going to visit his grandfather.
