Chapter 7: What kind of world?
Millicent was happy that her plan worked. She was relieved that she was able to save her job. She was also glad that she was able to get rid of Justine. Now she's safe from his evil schemes. Justine got fired and Allison ask her for forgiveness.
"I'm sorry for accusing you." Allison apologized. "I'm grateful for what you did."
"Don't worry about it," Millicent replied. "I don't have any ill feelings toward you." Millicent lied. It was a lie, of course. They were staring at her like she was a criminal back then and it was easy for them to talk behind her back. She will always have ill feelings toward them.
"I'm sorry for what happened to you," Allison added. "I don't want to think that you're the culprit."
