Unknown Alpha
Ten minutes to the border. Nine minutes. Eight minutes. Seven minutes. Six minutes. Five minutes. That’s when the sweet smell of peonies and peppercorn wafted towards me. My wolf, Zeus, stirred inside of me, trying to urge me to hunt down the delicious aroma of innocence. I resisted him and ran the perimeter of Silver Crescent before doubling back towards the only road that led into the pack.I sighed in relief; there were no signs of any other packs yet. RoseThe sun crept through a window cascading into the room. I groggily opened my eyes; my fingers wiped the sleep from my eyes. I stretched my arms out while I yawned. Once my eyes were fully adjusted to the light, I looked around. Where was I? It was in a room not even vaguely familiar. The only thing that I could recognize was the crumpled t-shirt in my lap...with drool on it. I groaned as I brushed it off Orion’s shirt. How embarrassing.The room was pretty basic. It had cream walls with hardwood floors. Across the room, there was a cream armchair and side table. On the little table was a little stack of clothes with an apple and a piece of paper laid on top.
