The night sky was aglow with the bright lights of the mansion. The pale crescent moon shone surrounded by an ethereal glow in the night sky with millions of stars sprinkled around it. The fresh breeze turned the weather very cool and pleasing. The perfect evening to celebrate a Masquerade party and everybody is having a wonderful time except for these two...
"I'm cold." She crossed her arms over her chest while shivering.
"If it wasn't for you, we wouldn't be here in the first place!" Edward rubs his hands together to get warm.
The wine cellar is like a giant refrigerator with a temperature of around 55 to 59 °F or 12 to 15 °C and 55 to 75%
relative humidity. She took a deep breath and releases a sigh of irritation. "We wouldn't be here in this situation if you did not run after me." Her voice slightly increases two pitches higher.
"I wouldn't do that if you did not try to run away from me when I called. Why are you running away from me anyway?" Edward curiously asks.
"You're creeping me out," she said bluntly and pouted her lips.
Edward gleamed at her with his nostrils flared. His jaws tighten while he clenches his fist trying to contain his emotions.
"Do you know who I am? I'm Edward Madrigal. I own this place," he confidently brags to her. "This is my party, and I'm creeping you out?" raising his voice and starting to get pissed.
"How should I know? You are all wearing masks," she said in her defense. "If you own this place, then you know how we can get out in this wine cellar. Can you please call one of your staff to open the door?" she shyly speaks and her voice toned down.
"If I can, I do it by now. Besides, there is no network in this place I cannot make a call," he quickly replies. "We are too far away from the party and there is no way they can hear us even if we scream. We just have to wait until my men find out that I am missing. They would surely look for me." Edward carefully explained.
He looked around the cellar and walk towards the rack that contains his favorite collections and grabs a bottle of wine.
"I just hope they will run out of wine. For sure they will come here to get some, and we will be saved," she said while looking at the small glass window.
She watches the people who are partying outside the cellar not far from them. The music is too loud for the people at the party to notice them. There are too many guests in the mansion, and it would be difficult for them to find each other if they got lost in the crowd.
"I doubt it. I have two wine cellars. All the wine used for this party is on the other side and this wine cellar is only for my personal use. This is where I keep all my expensive wines. There's no way for them to come here to get some wine," he seriously said and took a bottle of wine from one of the racks. "Here, drink this it will keep you warm. The temperature here is colder than the other cellar." He handed her the bottle of wine.
"Dom.. de la Roman..." She's looking at the bottle while trying to read the label.
"Domaine de la Romanee-Conti Romanee-Conti Grand Cru, that's a very expensive wine. You should be grateful I'm letting you drink it. I don't want us to freeze to death."
After 3 hours and 3 bottles of wine...
"I donna shink I can drink anymoresh of your wine," she slurs her words while walking in zigzag until she drops to her knees to the floor. She crawls her way to the corner of the cellar and rested her back on the wall.
Edward burst out laughing when he saw her in an intoxicated state. He couldn't believe that she would get drunk so easily with only three bottles of wine. Later he found out that she was not messing around, and that she is drunk.
"Me too, I don't think I can have another drink." Edward sat beside her.
"But I'm still cold." She wraps her arms around her legs bringing her knees to her chest while sitting on the floor.
"I have an idea. Let's keep each other warm!" Edward moves closer to her and when he was about to put his arm over her shoulder she immediately reacts.
"Nice one Einstein!" Pushing him away from her. "Back off," she said pointing her index finger to his face almost touching his nose.
"It's the only way. I don't want to die in here. Not like this," he worriedly said. "I am still young with ambition. It will be a waste of precious life if we both die just because you refused to keep each other warm. There is no malice just pure science," he tried to convince her, removing his coat and covering her bare back. He pulled her close and puts his arms around her. "Now do you feel warm?" He gets closer to her.
"Yeah I guess, this might work," she softly speaks. She placed her arms around his waist and her head leaning on his chest. "I'm sorry." She held her chin up looking at his eyes.
"Sorry for what?" He looks back at her and starts to admire her beautiful big brown eyes.
"For running away from you and for getting us locked in here." She suddenly felt remorse as tears start to fall from her eyes.
Her mood changes and becomes very emotional because of too much intake of wine. The influence of alcohol is taking over her.
"I'm sorry too." He wipes her tears and traces his finger over her mask.
"Sorry for what?" she asked curiously.
"For what I'm about to do..."
He runs his hands through her hair to the back of her neck and kissed her, softly at first and with no sign of resistance from her, he then swiftly intensifies the kiss. She clings to him when she felt like an electric current flowing in her veins sending shivers down her skin from his kiss. He notices how innocent she was as she doesn't know how to return his kiss, so he gently parts his mouth from her shaking lips.
They stared at each other for a moment and before they knew it their lips are once again locked with each other. His tongue slips and wanders inside her mouth, tasting her innocence. Her heart beats faster and faster, breathing heavily and deeply as he steals her breath away.
Fog starts to form on the small glass window and dew from the bottle of wine. The strong frictional forces form from the cellar's cold temperature and the two beings' steamy heat collide. They both feel their bodies' heat and their kiss's warmth. Sweat starts to drip all over their bodies.
Edward gently removes his mask and started to undress but when he tries to remove her mask she pulls away from him and holds her mask firmly indicating that she does not want to be unmasked.
He raises both of his hands and said, "sorry it will not happen again. I will not attempt to remove your mask anymore."
He leaned towards her making him now on top of her slowly pulling her dress down. She is now naked before him. He pulls back to take a look at her whole being before he positioned himself on top of her full breasts against his chest and he wedged a thigh between hers.
Her body weakens and submissively gives in to him when she feels his hard full length between her thighs. He can feel her wetness as he continues to rub himself over her then, he slowly and gently glides his manhood into her entrance then he noticed something...
"You're still a virgin?" He looked at her and sees tears falling from her eyes. She did not say anything and pulls herself to him kissing him passionately.
He started to push himself against her feeling her tightness as he rips her flesh and took away her innocence. Blood starts to drip between her thighs and he continues to enter half of his manhood. She softly releases a groan for she feels the pain from his thrust. He locked his lips onto her to prevent her from crying out loud. Edward gave her his warm kiss, gentle yet demanding. With her blood and bodily fluids lubricating his shaft, he was able to insert the full length of his manhood. Pain turns to pleasure Edward notices that she is beginning to like it. She wraps her legs around his waist pulling him deeper inside her.
He continued to thrust at a steady pace looking at her beautiful big brown eyes with burning desire, gradually changing his pace thrusting faster and faster, moaning even louder as both of them reach their climax. They keep each other's bodies warm melting into one. Unable to separate from one another. His hands roamed her body possessively, exchanging kisses until the break of dawn.
"Sir, wake up!" The old man jolted Edward who is deep asleep naked on the cold stone floor of the cellar.
"Where am I?" Edward with a sleepy face tries to get up and wanders around the place.
"You're inside the cellar, Sir. You should not be sleeping naked, especially at this place or you might catch a cold." The old man looked at him strangely.
"Huh?!" His brow furrows. When he comes to his senses and remembered what happened last night. "Where is she? Did you see her?" Edward looked around searching the area.
"She left as soon as I opened the door," the old man replied.
"What? Go find her and bring her to me!" he hysterically said and started to panic.
The old man immediately took out a radio transmission from his pocket and instructs his men to scatter around the mansion and look for the girl.
"Did you see her face?" He immediately stood up and grabs the old man's arm.
"Sir!" The old man was startled.
"What does she look like?" Edward asked persistently and his grip on the old man's arm becomes tighter.
"Sir?" Hermann's eyes widened leaving him dumbfounded.
"What? Don't just stand there. Help me find her!" he said in a commanding tone.
"Sir!" he repeatedly called out to Edward trying to get his attention until he finally succeeded.
"What? Why are all of you looking at me like that as if I'm..."
The maidservants who just entered to clean the cellar started giggling.
When Edward realized what is going on, he immediately covered his fully erect love pump with his hands.
The old man asked for a towel from the maidservants and handed it over to him. Edward wraps the towel around his waist. He turns his attention back to Hermann ignoring everyone else in the cellar.
"Hermann, we have to look for her please," Edward talked to his old and faithful butler.
"She was running fast I could not see her face." Hermann handed over something, "She accidentally dropped this while running."
"It's her mask!" Edward holds the mask tightly.
"Sir, what happened? What did she do? Did she steal something valuable?" Hermann consecutively asks questions. He is so worried that something bad had happened to his master.
"Yes, she did steal something very important to me." Edward looked all so furious like he is scammed by the strange woman.
"Is it one of your expensive wines, money, or pieces of jewelry?" Hermann asked and pulled out a mobile phone from his pocket to call the police.
Edward shook his head. "No Hermann. It's much more valuable than that," he disappointedly said while looking straight into Hermann's eyes.
"What is it, Sir? What did she steal that is more valuable than those things? " Old man scratched his head looking confused.
Edward walked towards the main door of the cellar and stared outside his huge property. He takes a deep breath and releases an audible sigh before he answers Hermann's question.
"My HEART."
The Masquerade Festival is a famous tradition in the province of San Lorenzo celebrated every month of October. Sometimes, they held a Masquerade ball to honor a member of a wealthy family or just for a special event. The said event removes the boundaries of social status. They have the freedom to talk and mingle without being judged or mocked. There is no rich nor poor, everyone is equal. There are strict rules to follow if one plans to attend the ball. Costumes have to make the wearer unidentifiable and wearing a mask is mandatory to hide their identity. No one is allowed to unmask anyone or to say the name of the person even if you recognize them. It is like a game of pretending to be someone or whomever you want to be in one night. According to tradition, the mask is said to drive away evil spirits or bad luck and brings good fortune to the one who hosts the party. Other theories said that with their identity hidden, there is a greater chance to find their soulmates or destined p

Money can buy you everything and so they say, but sometimes it doesn't require money to make someone happy. A simple gesture can make the heart flutter. It's the thought that usually counts and not the amount.Edward was staring at the crystal figurine that Ella has given to him. He places it alongside the 1923 Cartier Sapphire and Diamond Bracelet that he bought from the gold souk. Even though he knew that the crystal figurine doesn't have any value, not even a dime compared to the bracelet, he couldn't throw it away.Edward has grown deeply fond of Ella not because she reminded her of his childhood friend, and of all the students in the university, she is the only one to whom he can truly be himself. The following day back on Campus... It was a normal lazy afternoon. A peaceful and quiet day to relax and rest after the tiring first half of morning class. The serenity of the campus was interrupted when Edward rushes to the school building and furiously looks for Joaquin. Everyone who crosses paths with him moves away or heads in the other direction and gives way as he walks through the hallway. They can feel his anger with every footstep that echoed sharply around the place like the booming heartbeat of a condemned prisoner. His piercing eyes were scanning every corner of the hallway until he finally sees his target. "I am so going to kill you!" Edward rushes towards Joaquin. He grabs Joaquin's collar and pulls him closer to him. Edward clenched his fist on Joaquin's shirt and glared at him with gritted teeth. "Hey, hey, calm down. What's going on?" Joaquin is looking at him with a feeling of confusion. He has no clue about Edward's rage. "First of all, It's not her!" Edwar
