"Alpha Greg, I have news about Hailey," Marcus replied, his voice cautious.

Greg's expression turned intense. "What is it? Is she...?"

"She's alive, Alpha," Marcus said, relief washing over his face. "And she's living in Oklahoma with a child."

Greg's eyes widened, shock and joy mixing on his face. "Oklahoma? With a child? Who is the father?"

Marcus hesitated before responding, "Zac, Alpha. He's the one she's living with."

Greg's expression transformed from joy to anger in an instant. "Zac? That traitor? Living with my daughter? Oh, he'd have himself to blame for sending her away and now moving in with her!”
