One Night-Stand; Fated To The Enemy Alpha

HAILEY’S POV

My head was spinning as I struggled to open my eyes, the pain behind my eyelids making it hard to focus.

When my vision finally cleared, I realized I was not alone. Lying next to me in bed was none other than Alpha Zac, one of the Alphas my father had invited to his birthday celebration the previous day. My heart started pounding, and my breath came in short, shallow gasps.

I scrambled to sit up, my hands clutching the sheets to my chest. "What is this?" I asked, my voice and eyes shaking.

“What happened?" I whispered loudly, my voice still shaking.

There was no response. Alpha Zac was still asleep, his chest rising and falling with each breath. I tried to remember what had happened the night before, but it was all a blur. The only memory I could recall was gulping down a glass of wine I was served and the rest was blank.

“What have I done? Gosh!” I had to get out of this room before he woke up, I needed to think hard to remember how I ended up in bed with him. I swung my legs over the edge of the bed and stood up, my legs trembling beneath me. I took a deep breath, trying to calm myself. But I could still feel the panic rising in my chest. I had to get out of here. I stumbled to the door, my hand shaking as I reached for the doorknob.

But it wouldn't budge. I tried again, but it was locked, locked from outside, Damn! I turned around, my heart racing, and saw Alpha Zac was now awake, he was sitting upright on the edge of the bed.

"Where do you think you're going?" He growled, not looking as shocked as I was but I could feel the anger radiating off him.

"You think you can just seduce me and then run away? Just like that," he scoffed, his voice full of rage.

“Seduce you?” I returned the scoff, unable to believe his words. “You think I seduced you? Are you for real? Why do you think I would do it when it looks like you are the one who seduced me. How did I end up in bed with you?” I asked him.

“I don’t know but I remember your step sister mentioning how much of a slut you are and how you always get your way with men who come around. I thought it was all a joke not knowing I was your next target,” Alpha Zac revealed with anger.

“What are you fucking saying. What did Alisha dare say to you? It’s not true, I am not a slut. I would never seduce_”

“Enough! Like I care about how you live your life. The only thing you have to do right now is to take responsibility for this, which is that you now belong to me. No woman dare seduce me and get away with it,” Alpha Zac said, making me swallow hard.

“Responsibility? For what I didn’t do? Why do you think I will take responsibility when I don’t know if you put this up yourself? What did you do to my drink? I remember drinking from a wine I was served and I don’t know what happened next,” I said, searching my brain for answers but couldn’t find none.

“And how dare you mention my step sister. Do you think she will say such words about me to you?” I lost my temper as I yelled at him.

“I will tell my father everything. You have to be punished for this,” I had lost my temper as I let this out.

“Tell your father what?” He asked me with his eyes blazing in fury. “ You want to escape right and act like nothing happened between us. You're not going anywhere." I felt like I was in a trap as Alpha Zac's words echoed through the room, I felt like I was suffocating.

My chest was tight, my heart was racing, and my head was spinning. I tried to take a deep breath, but it felt like I couldn't get enough air. He started heading towards me and I started taking slow steps backward.

“What are you trying to do? I need to leave this place, my father cannot meet me here, he cannot know what happened between us. Let’s talk about how this happened later,” I said and tried leaving but he grabbed my wrist, preventing me from leaving.

“Let me go. Let me go,” I cried but he refused to listen. He was consumed by his anger, his eyes dark with rage. "You think you can use me like this?" he snarled, his voice full of contempt.

“I never used you. It’s more like you used me. Is that why you honored our invitation? You had this in mind right? You have been refusing to show up for years and all of a sudden you showed up and this happened. Gosh! How can I not believe the wild rumors about how much of a gigolo you are,” I spat, my words sharp like a knife.

“You can say whatever you want but you aren’t leaving until your father shows up,” he said.

“What!” My eyes were filled with horror.

“Yes, I have already sent out words to him on how I lost my state of mind over a glass of wine, and when i woke up, i found myself in bed with you, and I believe he will be here shortly,” Alpha Zac revealed and immediately I heard the door knob turn and the door opened, revealing my father who had an angry look on his face.

“Hailey,” he called me in the coldest voice I had ever heard.

“No father, it’s not what you think,” I quickly said as I disentangled my hand from Alpha Zac’s grip and walked forward to meet him but he slapped me hard across the face. What he had never done before.

“You dare prove the rumors flying around about your bitchy side to be true!” My father spat with anger.

“Father please,” I fell on my knees but he wasn’t looking at me.

“Drag her to her room. Don’t allow the guest to get to know what is happening. The commotion it has caused is already enough and tell everyone to go home, the ceremony will cease and will no longer continue as planned,” my father said to his beta as he turned back, heading out of the room.

“Father please. I didn’t do it,” I cried as the guards grabbed me. “Father please believe me,” I said but he was already gone. I turned around to look towards Alpha Zac, he was still standing where he had been with no emotions on his face and my temper flared as I put all the blame on him.

“You dare do this to me, you monster, I will make you pay,” I yelled as I was dragged out of the room.
