When I arrived at the hotel, my colleagues who were on duty early were no longer in a hurry. Because of their hurry, I felt pressured to hurry, so I went straight to the locker room to change my clothes.

I'm just a bellboy, but I know that this is also an important position in the hotel. While I was changing, there was a knock, and when I looked, I saw our supervisor.

"Haru, do you have a minute?"

"Ah, just wait, sir." I immediately answered and then quickly put on my uniform.

He went out; that's why I also went out, and when we entered a room, we were immediately looked at. Even my teammates inside the hotel that I always see and socialize with in the locker room also look at me strangely.

I bowed down. Is it wrong for an omega to work? I know that we're kind of troublesome, especially when our heat is near, but still... We're still humans. We still need to work for a living.

Why do we have to be discriminated against by them?

Is it because we don't have a backer? Or is it just because I'm poor?

I just ignored their looks and just followed our supervisor, who also lined up at the very edge.

"You probably already know why you're here, don't you?" said the supervisor. I don't know yet, but I don't have the courage to ask. "For those who don't know yet, there will be a big event, and it will be held at our hotel. Two big companies will be celebrating, and they have chosen us to serve them," our supervisor informed. "I want to let you know that I have chosen you to help provide food to the guests and important people. I tell you, this is an important event. Don't you ever try to destroy it," said our supervisor, who gave us a warning.

"Sir!" exclaimed a beta male, raising his hand. "It's not about discriminating against the omegas, but what about Haru? We don't know when his heat is. It's also certain that there are many omegas in that event," he said.

It looks like a concern, but it's not. I really feel that he doesn't want to be with me at this event. I just don't know why.

Our supervisor frowned. "Are you really concerned or because you know that Alphas prefer Omegas over Betas? I'm telling you, don't try to make trouble there. If you're worried about Haru, don't worry, there's a heat suppressor," our supervisor said sharply.

I bowed down.

My heat is still next month. Before I entered the hotel, I had just finished my heat.

I really want to tell them that, but I don't have the courage. I shouldn't be ashamed of being an omega, but...

I mentally shrugged my head.

No, I'm not ashamed to be an omega. My only problem is that Alphas are around.

After our meeting, I immediately went to our supervisor's office.

I knocked.

"Come in," I heard someone say from inside.

"Sir?" I called as I opened the door and peeked in.

"Oh, Haru, what is it?" he asked, returning his gaze to the documents in front of him.

"Sir, can I no longer be among the people who will be serving at the event? I have these bad feelings about this event. Also, there are many people who want to be a part of it. I'll give them my slot, sir."

"Haru," my supervisor interrupted what I was about to say. "I know you have a bad experience with Alphas based on my observation. You always associate yourself with Betas or sometimes alone. Don't you think this is the right time to fix it? I mean, you don't have to be afraid of Alphas. As long as you did nothing wrong," he said.

I just bit my lip. That's not what we want to happen. I've tried that a few times. I also want to feel comfortable with other Alphas.

There were so many things I wanted to say to my supervisor, but none of them came out of my mouth. It seems like everything I say is only in my mind.

"Look, Haru," he said gently. "Gather your courage, because I won't change my mind."

My emotions were complicated when I went out of my supervisor's office. I don't really want to, but there's nothing I can do because, by chance, I'll lose my job.

In the end, I called Kenji.

"Why don't you try it?" I heard Kenji say when I told him everything. "I know your suffering, and I am aware of your anxiety, but this really is a good chance for you to face your fear. If anyone ever did anything bad to you at that event, let me know, and I will drag him to hell," he added.

I don't know, but those words kind of make me feel secure.

"But-"

"Haru, there's also a chance that you'll meet your fated pair there. That's one of the reasons why your supervisor is sending you there. He wants you to be able to have genuine happiness."

After our short call, I returned to work. I just helped with what was needed for the event, and the main hall of the hotel is really decorated luxuriously. Getting rich is different. Even the plates, spoons, forks, glasses, and foods were expensive. I don't want to because I feel like I could break a glass. Maybe just one more glass is my full salary.

Still, I want to find him. My fated pair.

THE DAY HAS COME. The most feared day I ever encountered. Everything is ready in the main hall, and even the hotel rooms are all packed up, so there are no hotel rooms available now.

I still fulfill my job as a bellboy, even though I am part of the food and beverage team at the event. But I only choose the people I deliver to. Mostly, Betas. I don't deliver Alphas to their room.

I have been giving the Alphas to other bell boys and bell girls, and they are really quite happy with it. I don't care.

"Hey!" a man called me.

I turned around. Suddenly, my chest started pounding, and it felt like something was strange around me.

Alpha!

My whole system screamed danger!

I immediately pulled Joan. "Jo, go grab that Alpha."

I immediately left when I told Joan that, and I still can feel the stare on my back from that Alpha. I really hope he doesn't hold a grudge against me.

But what is it?

Why do I feel drowned by his stare? Why do I feel like I want

to grab his collar and kiss him right then and there?

I felt my face go red.

Oh gosh, Haru. You're in trouble. Really in trouble.

  • One Night With An Alpha (Omegaverse Series #3) | SPG   Epilogue

The moment we stepped through the front door, the rush of warmth that came over me was more than just the physical heat of our home. It was the embrace of familiarity, of being home. I had missed this place more than I’d realized. The sound of our children’s voices filled the air before I could even take off my shoes, and I felt a lump rise in my throat as they ran toward us.“Papa! Daddy!” they called out in perfect unison, their voices full of excitement, joy, and love. The sight of Hibiki, Mina, and Ren rushing toward us was enough to make my heart swell in ways I couldn’t quite describe.I knelt down as fast as I could, trying to catch them all in one go. Mina, being the most affectionate of the three, immediately flung herself into my arms, wrapping her little arms around my neck and burying her face against me. I chuckled, holding her close as I breathed in her familiar scent. The warmth of her tiny body against mine was all I needed to feel complete.“We missed you so much, Pap

  • One Night With An Alpha (Omegaverse Series #3) | SPG   A Quiet Getaway

It had been years since Jiro and I had taken a vacation just for the two of us. Life had been a constant whirlwind of work, family, and responsibilities. There was always something that needed attention, and as much as I loved our children, the routine had worn us both thin. So when Jiro suggested a quiet getaway, I jumped at the chance. A beach vacation, just the two of us. No kids, no work, just time to reconnect. As we sat in the taxi that was taking us to the airport, I couldn't help but feel a small pang of guilt. Hibiki and Mina were both old enough now to take care of themselves—Mina with her calm and mature demeanor, Hibiki with his protective nature as a big brother—but still, they were our children. Leaving them behind for a few days felt strange, even if we were leaving them in capable hands."You’re still worried, aren’t you?" Jiro said, his voice soft but knowing. He had always been able to read me so easily.I looked at him, offering a small smile. "A little. They’re gro

  • One Night With An Alpha (Omegaverse Series #3) | SPG   A Night of Reflection

The warmth of Jiro's presence lingered as I drifted into a peaceful sleep, my body finally giving in to the exhaustion that had been building up over the past few days. There was something comforting about knowing he was still awake, making sure everything was in order, while I let my mind wander into quiet oblivion. I woke up a few hours later to find the room dim, the soft glow of moonlight spilling through the large windows, casting gentle shadows across the room. The house was silent, the only sound being the occasional rustle of the wind outside. For a brief moment, I couldn't remember where I was, disoriented by the unfamiliar stillness. But as my senses returned, I realized I was in our shared bedroom—safe and secure, just the way I liked it. Jiro was no longer sitting in the chair, but I could hear the faint sound of footsteps outside, followed by a muffled voice. It sounded like he was checking on the kids. I smiled to myself, knowing that his love for our family was as con

  • One Night With An Alpha (Omegaverse Series #3) | SPG   Quiet Moments

The house had fallen into a peaceful quiet, the kind that only comes when the day has ended and everyone is tucked away in their respective rooms. The usual hum of energy, the laughter, and the occasional bickering had all faded, leaving just the soft ticking of the clock and the distant sound of a night breeze rustling through the trees outside. Jiro and I were in the living room, alone for the first time in what felt like hours. It had been a busy day, filled with the hustle and bustle of family life, and now, as Ren fell asleep in his room, it was just the two of us. A rare luxury these days. I was curled up on the couch, a soft blanket draped over my legs. Jiro, ever the picture of effortless strength, was sitting in the armchair opposite me, his body still, but his eyes not leaving me for a second. There was something about the silence that stretched between us—comfortable, yet somehow full of unspoken thoughts. “Everything’s quiet now,” Jiro said, his voice low and calm, the

  • One Night With An Alpha (Omegaverse Series #3) | SPG   The Promise of Responsibility

The decision weighed heavily on my mind. The evening had fallen into a quiet stillness, the kind where every little movement seemed to echo. The kids were waiting in the living room, looking at me with those expectant eyes. They were so eager, so sure of themselves. The promise of freedom—the promise of a trip where they could explore and grow, just the four of them—was something they were all craving. And yet, part of me still hesitated. I had spent years watching over Hibiki and Mina, making sure they were safe from the world. I had been there for them in their moments of need, guiding them with a gentle hand, protecting them from the dangers that life could throw their way. But now, they were growing up. They weren’t the small children who needed constant supervision anymore. They were capable, strong, and ready for challenges of their own. Hibiki, my eldest, was already showing the world that he was becoming a man in his own right, not just an Omega, but a responsible and strong

  • One Night With An Alpha (Omegaverse Series #3) | SPG   The Field Trip Request

The morning sun had just begun to spill through the windows, casting a warm glow across the living room. It was a quiet, peaceful Saturday, the kind of morning that held a promise of relaxation. Jiro was still upstairs, likely working on some paperwork for the company, and the kids—Hibiki and Mina—were in the kitchen, arguing over what they should have for breakfast. I stood in the hallway, listening to their usual banter, a smile tugging at the corner of my lips. As much as they could drive each other crazy, it was clear that they were as close as ever, always there for one another in their own little sibling way. I took a sip of my tea, feeling the warmth spread through me, and settled into my usual spot on the couch. I had been looking forward to a quiet day with the family, a chance to relax and maybe take a walk in the park later. But little did I know that today was going to bring an unexpected request. Hibiki was the first to appear in the living room. His black hair was stil
