Chapter 98

Maxine's Point of View

We really woke up early in the morning to go to the house Alyn was talking about last night. It's a two story house. It has a terrace on the second floor which is also connected to one of the rooms. The second floor has three rooms. It also has a master bedroom on the first floor. And there was a room for a house helper. After the kitchen, it's outside and on the opposite side is the maids' room. It's nice and big. The garage and pool are present, too. It will be too big just for the two of us. Can't we just live together with his cousins in their Mansion? Psh. I'm nervous to be alone with him.

"Aren't we going home now? We're done checking the house," I asked. I'm sitting on the couch with my legs crossed.

He sat down next to me, "We're staying here."

I looked at him instantly, surprised by what I heard, "And why is that?"

"This is our house so why do you think we still have to go home to your mansion?" He turned to me with his brow arched.
