Chapter 32: One Touch: One Kiss

Maya looked at the sleeping Sylvia. She had carefully covered her body with a blanket. She noticed over time the other woman seemed to look better but has develop a cold that she can’t seem to shake.

She grabbed the jacket she found in the closet. Very carefully she slipped out the front door but quickly stop in her steps. She noticed the car parked across the road. A man was quickly climbing out. She steps back into the house but the man still comes closer. He wore a confused expression on his face. Looking intently, he appeared to be familiar.

“Don’t close the door,” the man said sharply.

Maya stood still her hand holding the door waiting as he approached. Once the man stood in front of her he suddenly seemed to relaxed. “What are you doing in my house?” He asked surprise.

Maya looked inside but noticed Sylvia was still sound asleep. She faced the man again. She frowns as he clearly seemed relaxed and this puzzles her.
