Liam’s POV

The moment Daisy finally fell asleep in my arms, I knew she had been forcing herself to stay strong for far too long.

Even now…

Her breathing remained uneven.

Like her body still hadn’t fully relaxed despite the exhaustion dragging her under.

I stayed awake quietly beside her, one arm around her waist while my hand rested protectively over her stomach.

Our baby.

The thought still didn’t feel real sometimes.

A child.

Mine and Daisy’s.

I lowered my eyes toward her sleeping face.

  • One Weekend with the Billionaire    The Price of Obsession

Liam’s POVFor four peaceful months…Everything was quiet.Too quiet, apparently.Daisy’s pregnancy continued progressing slowly, and although she still became exhausted easily, things had stabilized enough that I finally stopped feeling constant panic every time she stood up too quickly. Not completely.Just enough to breathe normally again. She was exactly four months pregnant now.And somehow…Every single day, she became even more beautiful.Which honestly felt unfair.Especially because she still insisted she looked “terrible.”UnfortunatelyPeace never lasted long around people like us.I learned that the hard way. That morning started normally enough.Too normally.Daisy was still asleep upstairs while I handled several postponed meetings from the study downstairs. The company had survived four months of me refusing unnecessary business trips.Barely.My assistant entered the study quietly while holding several folders.“Sir, the Hong Kong documents require your signature befor

  • One Weekend with the Billionaire    Fragile Days

The days passed more quickly than I expected. At first, I still tried to keep up with everything the way I normally did.Work.Meetings.Reports.Deadlines.I kept telling everyone including myself that pregnancy wouldn’t stop me from living normally. But my body clearly had other plans. It started with small things.Random dizziness.Sudden exhaustion.Morning sickness that didn’t only happen in the morning. Then eventually…Even standing too long became difficult. At first, I tried hiding it from my husband Mostly because I already knew how he would react.Overprotective.Unreasonably overprotective. And unfortunately…I was right. One morning, I nearly collapsed inside the bathroom after getting dizzy too quickly while fixing my hair.I managed to steady myself against the sink before falling completely, but the sound alone was enough to alarm Liam.“Daisy?”His voice came sharply from outside the bathroom door.I closed my eyes briefly.Great.“I’m okay,” I answered quickly. The

  • One Weekend with the Billionaire    Staying a Little Longer

I didn’t go home that day.Not immediately. After everything I had told my parents, I couldn’t bring myself to leave right away like nothing had changed.Like I hadn’t just rewritten the entire direction of my life in a single conversation.Instead, I stayed. And for the first time in a long time, it felt like I was exactly where I was supposed to be.My mother kept touching my arm every few minutes like she was still confirming I was really there. My father tried to act normal, but I caught him watching me more often than usual. And my younger brother, Ethan Flores even though already in college was still as clingy as ever.Especially after learning I was pregnant.“You’re seriously having a baby?” he asked again for what was probably the tenth time that day.I sighed dramatically from the couch.“Yes.”“With Liam Villarreal?”“Yes,” Then I threw a pillow at him.“There’s only one Liam Villarreal!”He caught the pillow while laughing loudly.Meanwhile my mother just shook her head f

  • One Weekend with the Billionaire    The Truth I Had to Bring Home

The morning after we returned from the Villarreal mansion, I woke up earlier than usual again. Not because I was rested. But because my mind wouldn’t let me stay asleep for too long.Beside me, Liam Villarreal was still asleep.Rare.Quiet.Almost unguarded in a way only I ever got to see now.I watched him for a few seconds without moving.Even after everything that had happened marriage, family acceptance, pregnancy there were still moments like this that made it hard to believe he was real in my life. His hand was still loosely resting near mine, even in sleep.Like even unconsciously, he made sure I was there.I carefully slipped out of bed, trying not to wake him.The floor was cold under my feet as I walked toward the window.Outside, the city was already awake. And somehow, I felt like I was standing at the edge of something bigger again. My hand slowly moved to my stomach.Still early.Still almost nothing to see.But I could feel it now in a way I couldn’t before.A quiet rea
