Author's POV:

Kai’s voice was cold and sharp as steel.

“Mind it Asher!! I’ll only ask this once: what the hell are you here for?”

His piercing gaze locked onto Asher, staring at the boy like he was an annoying fly on the wall.

“Because let me tell you, you can’t take one more step toward Vienna without suffering badly.”

Vienna was covered almost completely behind Fynn, who was standing protectively close to her, his arm brushing against hers in silent reassurance. But all her focus was on Kai who was standing near the doorway, physically blocking Vienna from the gazes of their unwelcome guests.

He was like a storm barely contained, his fists clenched tightly at his sides.

Asher smirked, his confidence unshaken. “What did you think, Maddox? This isn't your stupid college where you will complaint against me, do you get that? You thought that you could just elope with the Beta’s daughter, drag her name through the mud in front of the entire pack, and within two days, bring her back h

Vienna's POV:I pulled back from the hug, frozen for a second as Gemini’s words rang sharply in my ears.“What did you say?” I asked, my voice coming out sharp and loud. The remaining council members, guards, and even a few pack members turned their heads toward us. There was a moment of utter silence. I could feel Kai’s presence beside me, alert and protective, as if he was on his guard, ready to step in at the first sign of trouble between us.Gemini blinked at me with wide eyes, a look of confusion on her face. “I asked if you liked my testimony?” She repeated, her voice soft. “I mean, didn’t I act so put together and confident? On the inside, I was really freaking out and nervous to face so many high-ranking officials at once, you know?”A rush of breath escaped my lips, and I gave a soft laugh, the tension slowly draining from my shoulders. Oh Moon Goddess, I had misunderstood her words in this context. “Yeah, you looked really calm and collected,” I said, managing a smile.

  • Oops! My Twin Mates are my Professors   Curtain falls

Author's POV:The room sat in tense silence as the elder exhaled slowly, eyes never leaving Gemini. “Is that your final stance, Miss Gemini Belmont? Don’t you have anything else to say?”Gemini straightened in her chains, eyes cold and sharp. “No,” she said curtly, her voice echoing across the marbled walls.Fynn’s jaw tensed, his glare sharp enough to draw blood. He had had enough of the elder’s veiled accusations and their thinly veiled contempt for Vienna. Kai, standing beside his brother, placed a firm hand on Fynn’s arm, grounding him with a simple touch.A different elder stepped forward now, robes swaying, voice booming with authority. “In light of the testimony provided and evidence reviewed, this council has reached a decision. Mrs. Vienna Maddox, Supreme Luna of the Obsidian Pack, is hereby acquitted of all charges. It is determined that the death of Miss Zella occurred solely in necessary self-defense.”A wave of relief washed over the courtroom, though only a few dared to

Author's POV:The elder's voice broke through the heavy silence once more, steady and precise. “Miss Belmont, can you tell us about the Supreme Luna’s behavior during your time together?”Gemini leaned back slightly, her shackled hands resting in her lap like she was used to having her wrists bound tightly and it didn't even make any difference to her. “Oh, she was always, um… let's say, well-mannered! Not sweet, neither sour, just bland like a cracker is supposed to be.”She said slowly, her voice dripping with mock sweetness. “Quiet Vienna, obedient Vienna who never spoke out of turn. Always polite, except for one time when she slapped me and her ex on her birthday.”The council scribes nodded, diligently taking notes while her lips were lifted into a half smirk. “But she was also jealous of me, and it's quite easy to see why. Both parents adored me like I was the blessing that had fallen into their lap. I had everything: love, dresses, freedom. She had scraps, and rules to obey

  • Oops! My Twin Mates are my Professors   Witness in Chains

The courtroom was silent, the kind of silence that thrummed in one’s ears. All eyes were on Vienna as she sat upright in the witness stand, her hands folded neatly in her lap, her posture composed and elegant. Yet beneath her calm exterior, a storm of unease swirled. The tension in the air was thick enough to choke on, and she felt like this was the perfect moment to choke and escape the outcome of this trial. The nanny was standing in the stand opposite to hers, speaking to the elders;“She came out of the bushes like a madwoman, moments after Zeke had jumped out of the window and into his parents' lap. But that lady was screaming, eyes red, yelling about revenge and how Luna Vienna had stolen Alpha Fynn because of her son. She threatened to kill young Zeke… the Alpha heir! She was surely the one who attacked first, claws out. Luna Vienna defended herself. It was an act of self-preservation and a mother's instincts, nothing malicious as per my understanding.”A murmur had risen the

  • Oops! My Twin Mates are my Professors   The Last Person

Vienna's POV:I held Zeke close, burying my nose in the crown of his soft hair, breathing in the baby smell that was clinging to him. His little fingers tightened in my dress, and I could feel the fear still lingering in his tiny body. Then came a voice — low, calm, and so sure of itself it instantly made everything feel safer.“Don’t worry, baby. I won’t let anyone touch your mumma.”I turned my head to find Kai leaning against the doorway, arms crossed, a soft glow in his dark eyes. His voice was reassuring, like the gentle press of a hand against a trembling back. Zeke peeked up and his expression instantly brightened.“Your dada, papa, and aunt are all here for mama,” Kai said as he stepped into the room. “So just sleep well, okay?”Zeke nodded seriously and reached up to pat my cheek with his small palm. “Let’s be happy, mama. I’ll be with you forever.”A lump formed in my throat.I kissed his cheek gently and laid him down again, tucking the blanket beneath his chin. His eyes fl

  • Oops! My Twin Mates are my Professors   A Glimmer of Hope

Vienna's POV:I could still feel the weight of the Council’s gazes on me, like invisible chains binding me to the stone floor. The meeting had just ended, and as the room emptied, the air felt colder, heavier. It was hard to breathe. My heart was still pounding in my chest when I heard hurried footsteps approaching. Then, a burst of movement. Lola.Without a second thought, she was in front of me, her arms around me, pulling me into a tight embrace. “Vi, why didn’t you tell me?” she snapped, her voice thick with anger. “I would have come here right away.”I felt a rush of relief at her warmth, her presence. It was comforting, even amidst all the chaos. “Thank you for coming, Lola,” I said softly, trying to hold back the emotions threatening to spill over. She pulled away just enough to meet my eyes, her expression fierce. “Bullshit! I would have come before if only you had bothered to tell me,” she hissed. “But I’ll fight with you later. Right now, we need to figure this shit out.”I

  • Oops! My Twin Mates are my Professors   Testimony

Vienna's POV:The great hall of the Council was colder than I remembered. The stone walls echoed every whisper, every breath, like even the building itself held judgment. I stood at the center, flanked by Kai and Fynn, but today—despite their presence—I felt utterly alone.Fynn sat at the front, presiding, though no one could mistake him for neutral. His jaw was tight, lips a hard line, and his golden eyes refused to meet mine. His wolf strained beneath his skin, barely contained. He had no choice but to sit in that seat, but I knew what it cost him to do so.On the long stone bench beside him, the Council of Elders watched me with unreadable expressions. Grim. Old. Bound by laws and customs that rarely made space for nuance, for pain, or for truth twisted by survival.“You stand accused of murdering Zella of the Oasis Pack,” one of the elders said, voice hard and dry like cracking bark. “Do you deny it?”“I don’t,” I answered, forcing my voice steady. “But I acted in defense. Not jus

  • Oops! My Twin Mates are my Professors   Dreaded Morning

Vienna's POV:“Just stay still for a moment, baby!”I murmured, humming softly to myself under my breath as I brushed Zeke’s hair into a side part. He made a silly face in the mirror and stuck out his tongue, wiggling his head so that my careful work was instantly unraveled and.“Zeke…” I warned, biting back a smile at his cute antics.“But Mama, it tickles…”He giggled, scrambling off the stool before I could launch a second attack on his head with the brush. He was wearing his new blue shirt, buttoned all the way up and his favorite black sneakers that lit up when he walked. His backpack looked huge on his small back, but he wore it with pride, like he was off to conquer the world.Today was his first full day of preschool. I should have been nervous, but the past few days had been peaceful enough that it felt like the world had given us permission to breathe and relax. My heat had finally passed, and we had picked up Zeke from Lola's house on the way back to Azuremist pack. It s
