The next morning, I woke up to find Amber still in my bed snuggled against my chest. She looked adorable sleeping so peacefully. I carefully got up and went to the bathroom, taking a quick shower, and getting dressed. When I walked out of the bathroom she was still sleeping peacefully. I leaned over and kissed her forehead then walked out of the room.
I walked down the hall and to the door that leads outside. When I stepped outside, I could see we were in the channel being brought in by tugboats to the dock. Placing my hands on the rail I looked out over the water towards land. I loved visiting Ireland; the country was beautiful. Should I ever actually retire, this would be where I would want to spend the rest of my days.
