 When we got back to the states after deployment, Noah told me to take a few days and go to Texas, then he would pick me up from there and bring me to New York. Noah knew the strained relationship I had with my family in Texas. But he insisted on me going down there. 

 I went to Texas for a few days and stayed in the cabin on the ranch property. Despite everything that had happened in the past, most of my family was happy to see me. I hadn't been home since I left to join the Army. Of course, Tyson and I still were not on good terms, but none of that mattered. 

 After catching up with everyone, I finally called Noah and told him I was ready to go to New York. He told me to give him a few hours and he would be down to get me.
