 Growing up in Texas was outstanding. I was an only child and spent most of my childhood working with my father on our ranch. We had a large ranch in West Texas with horses and cattle. Every day after school I would hurry home to help dad tend to the animals or round up the cattle. We spent our weekends repairing fencing around the ranch or working on the new barns we were building.

 As I came into my teen years, I had some trouble in school. It took little for me to get in a fight. I'm still not sure why I was like that. My parents were on the way to the school to speak with the principal about my behavior. A few hours after my parents dropped me off with my aunt and uncle, two officers showed up at their house.
