Something had seemed off about Hannah. I had made her promise me, at least three times, that she wouldn’t leave pack grounds on her run, but I hadn’t been able to get a read on her. Everyone I knew that was mated said they could feel their mate’s emotions as strong as their own once the bond was complete. I felt nothing from Hannah, not since her joy had washed over me after our bond was sealed. Part of me hoped it was because she had spent so long as a rogue, that it was interfering with our connection, but I couldn’t shake the feeling that something was seriously wrong for her to cut me off like that.
“I’m such an idiot.” I murmured to myself.
