Entering the apartment, it’s entirely too quiet in here. The bathroom door is still closed. Opening the door, it stops part way with a thud. SHIT! I squeeze through the opening and our mate is passed out on the floor in her towel. I drop to my knees as fast as I can muster and turn her over. She is still breathing. Linking mom, “get up here now and bring your bag”.

Grace is there within seconds it seems. “Her blood pressure is extremely low Liam, I need to start an IV”. Carrying our unconscious mate to the bed, mom runs down the hall and back with her IV supplies. Starting the IV doesn’t even stir Emma. “Mom?”.
