Laura's POV
After hearing those inconsiderate words from that arrogant, ungrateful, inhuman and nonchalant Luca of a boss, I managed to walk out of his room like everything was fine.
When I got out of the room, I wanted to let out the welling up tears, but some of my colleagues were there doing their various chores and the last thing I wanted was for any of them to know what was going on with me. I might not be able to take the embarrassment that would follow.
I walked past them towards my room blinking severally to avoid tears from falling off and giving me away.
"Laura, Lau, Laurie..." I heard Mary calling from behind.
Instead of answering, I increased my pace to my room.
"Laura." She called again, and I felt the prying eyes of my colleagues on me, from behind.
I felt the tears I've been holding start falling off. I quickly ran inside my room and locked myself up. I just gave myself out.

Clara's POV When I got to Luca's house that morning, to meet Mary, the security guard happily welcomed me, as I drove in.
