Our Chance

I was brought up in an orphanage home, I don't know my parents or any relative. The head of the orphanage home told me that some doctors brought me here because I was left in the hospital. The head of the orphanage home adopted me and gave me her surname. She always said "You are an angel to me" She named me Laura Angel Williams. When I reached the age of 18, I started working to save some money to get an apartment and to furthermore on my education, I was a high school graduate. Mrs. Williams, my adopted mother sent me to school up to High School. I don't have friends in the orphanage home, the kids always bullied me because of that I feel dejected and I decided to be on my own. I knocked on Mr. Moreno's door to give him his coffee and asked what he will have for breakfast but he did not answer me, I keep on knocking until my knuckle turns white. LAURA P.O.V. "Wake up sleepyhead" I heard a familiar voice. When I came back home yesterday I called her to inform her that I am back at home and I am not working with my arrogant boss again, she asked me what happened and I told her that I will explain to her the next day. Tracy climb on the bed beside me and hug me, she told me to stand up and freshen up that breakfast is ready. After breakfast, I explained all that happened at work to her and she hugs me. "Hello Laura" Clara said and I stand still in front of her thinking of what she is doing at my place."Hi ma'am, I mean Clara" She pulls me closer and hugs me."Can I come in?" To my surprise she takes the juice and drinks it, I think she will not drink it because it is not the usual juice the rich people can afford.
