The Three wicked Wolves

“I am sorry, but what?!” I look at this handsome man with a glare in my eyes.

“Ugh, Aaron, I don’t think this woman can understand us.” Said the other handsome man in a black leather jacket from behind this massive dude.

I gasped and demanded some answers from the arrogant man, “Excuse me?! What did you just say to me?!”

The arrogant man put away his sunglasses and what I saw is one of the beautiful piercing brown eyes that looks at me directly, “He said that you are in danger right now! So, did you catch it now?!” He spoke slowly, like I was some illiterate, clearly trying to mock me.

I heard a chuckle coming from another direction. A young man, probably just two or three years age different from me. The young man turned to the arrogant man and tried to scold him, “Come on, Zephyr, That was too rude.”

“But, you’re laughing, Elm!” Said the arrogant man named Zephyr.

The humongous one, named Aaron, gave me a warm smile. “So sorry for the two of them, miss Hunt. We were so rude to you.” Although he was politely apologizing to me, his hand still hold tightly into my door, his blue eyes looking straight at me, and his expression becoming rather serious than before. “Please, miss Hunt, at least gave us time to explain everything to you."

My mind was thinking hard for a while. I couldn’t just ask these three strangers to sit inside my house, but then, if I refused, I don’t think they will treat this lightly. I took a sigh and finally get away from my front door. Three people went inside my house. I look around and know exactly where I kept my weapons, going to be cautious just in case they tried something funny. The younger one will have a knife on his neck.

“I don’t know what kind of twisted thought that you have right now. Your expression was so scary.” The young one, named Elm, stared at me with curiosity on his face.

Zephyr already sits on the single sofa that I have. He looks uncomfortable while Aaron just sat on my countertop with his muscular body. I’m afraid that I’m going to lose the countertop soon. I sighed and folded my hands on my chest, demanding some explanation.

“Alright, what do you want? What kind of danger is going to befall me?” The three of them looked at each other, definitely trying to shift the responsibility to explain this unbelievable story to me. I rolled my eyes and asked them once again, “Does any one of you are going to speak up? Or do you prefer to just leave my house and…”

“It’s because of your heart!” Gruntled Zephyr while he looks at me, no… To be precise, he looks at my chest, my heart.

“What? what do you mean by that? The doctor assured me that this is a healthy heart and also a very good match for me.” I was so surprised by how the arrogant Zephyr insinuated about my heart.

“No, you’re fine… I mean It wasn’t about your health!” Aaron spoke to me while awkwardly looking back and forth between Zephyr and Elm, “Come on man, said something.”

I slam my countertop, making the three of them distraught and turn their attention to me, “Would the three of you say something that makes sense?!” massaging my temple, I sighed and said, “Just tell me, this time just tell me the truth!”

“For the moon, you’re one scary woman.” Muttered Elm, although his eyes look at me with excitement, and I fear to know why.

“Scary indeed, but I can see a fire in her eyes,” Aaron smirked at me with adoration on his face.

Zephyr looks at me with disagreement in his expression, “All I can see is an unruly woman without any mystic blood in her veins.”

“Mystic blood? What in the hell?!” huffing my breath, I open my door and asked them to get out of my house. I have had enough of their bullsh*t. I was tired and just wanted to go to my bed.

The three of them looked at me with disbelief in their eyes.

“Wait, are you seriously throwing us outside? Did you not hear us about the threat that will come to you?” Zephyr scoffed from the sofa and stand up right away, he clean his suit even though it was already perfect like the snob he is, and left my house.

Elm followed Zephyr from behind, while Aaron still lingered. He looks at me and said, “You’re really in danger, you know.”

I took a deep breath and said to him, “Well, at least you could give me a hint or something, or you guys were trying was assessing me like I’m some kind of purebred horse or something.”

“Well, it wasn’t horse, though.” Mumbled Aaron while a grin appear on his face, and this muscular man turned up having a dimple on his face. Such a cutie.

I chuckle and gestured to him to follow his two friends out of my tiny house. He shrugged and left, the other two already waiting for him, and if I am not mistaken, waiting inside a brand new R*nge Rover. So, they were not just rude and handsome, but possibly with money as well.

Still, this is not your typical day, albeit, I have my fair share of the not-your-typical day myself, which involved myself passing out in the middle of a park and having a heart attack. Strangely enough, I never knew what happened back then. I lost the memory of what exactly happened to me before and after the heart attack. The doctor told me it was the result of my trauma, and time will heal everything.

I get out for a while to breathe fresh air. I lived in a tiny home community where you’re surrounded by tall trees and lush vegetation. For now, it’s just me and mister Edward who lived a bit far from my house. I go to my car and check that everything is in order. My tiny house on the wheel sometimes needs proper maintenance. I’m glad that my grandpa seems to take care of everything.

Tonight I can see the full moon, and somehow, I feel a certain kind of Déjà vu just staring at the moon. My heart thumping a bit faster. Seems like the previous owner loves the moon as well. I sleep with an open sunroof. The night breeze lulls me with soft jazz music played on my built-in stereo.

‘Wake up!’

A voice came out of nowhere. I thought it was a dream. Mumbling, I asked with an incoherent word, “Who… Who are you?”

‘WAKE UP!!’

The screaming woke me from my slumber. Jumping from my bed, I look around my bed and found nothing. “Hello?” I called for anyone or anything that was waking me up in a quite disturbed state. “Are you the ghost? Hello?”

I put my blanket away and tried to get up from my bed until I felt water coming down from my sunroof. Looking up, what I saw was something out of the ordinary. A wolf, a big black wolf growling, with large fangs and teeth, aims directly at me, the wolf drooling and dropping into my bed. Before I could let out a scream, the wolf tries to grab me by entering my sunroof. I screamed and took my dagger from the nightstand, and plunged it into one of the wolf's legs.

Running away from my own room, I took another hunting dagger from my cabinet and put on my boots in a hurry. Clasping the dagger in my right hand, and holding the doorknob of my front door in my left hand, waiting for a moment when the beast came inside my tiny house. I hear a crack and not a moment too soon, opened the front door and run as fast as I can from my own home.

I wanted to run to mister Edward's house, but the black wolf locked my way from the road. The only way is to go through the forest, seriously f*cked up, not to mention I also forgot my car key. Screaming my frustration, I run into the trees, trying to lose the wolf, which after a while. I tried to look at my behind, and that was a bad decision on my behalf.

The black wolf, no, make it, two wolves were chasing me and they were getting close to grabbing and clawing my body.

‘Go left.’

The ghost's voice appears once again. This time, out of desperation, I took her advice and turn sharply left before one wolf jumped into me. I heard whimpering. Seems like there was a collision going on my behind.

“Thank you, whoever you are!” I said my gratitude to the ghost's voice.

‘Now, go to your right from the bush. The guys from before will come to rescue you need to trust them.’

“Guys from before? Oh, the three guys, f*ck, I don’t have any choice, aren’t I?”

‘No, you don’t have it.’ Said the ghost voice with a firm intonation.

“Motherf*cker! Fine!” I said to the ghost voice.

With precision, I enter the bushes, ignoring the bruises and cuts from the thorny vines, and finally saw a small road. Running onto the road, I stopped when I saw another three big wolves walking towards me. Curses on my luck, I draw my dagger at them and yelled.

“Come on, you son of a b*tch!”

One of the wolves, the white one, tilted its head, comically, and the brown one, the largest one, seems amused, or look amused by the visibility of its teeth and the calm eyes. I don’t even know I had the ability to feel wolf emotion, not until now. The other wolf, the black fur wolf, growled at me and suddenly jump, I screamed and duck from it, until I realize, it was attacking the two wolves that had been chasing me away from my house.

The white and the brown ones helped the black wolf. They fight fiercely while I hide behind a rock. In an instant, the three wolves successfully incapacitated my chasers. They look at me and goes out from behind the rock, my eyes caught a glimpse of a black shadow from my behind before the three wolves could react, another wolf came into me, and this time I was ready, I plunged my hunting dagger right into the jaw of the beast. Fresh blood spurs everywhere and the wolf lost its life.

“See, I told you she was a scary woman.”

Recognizing the voice of Elm, I kick the dead wolf from my body, and when I turned around, I saw three naked gentlemen looking at me. Gasping, I look around and saw the wolves that were chasing me now transform into a human.

“Son of a b*tch!” Cursed myself while I dropped to the ground.
