I was heading to Jake’s work because he asked me to; apparently, he had a surprise for me. What, I don’t know. He had been in his new for a week now, and he loved it. He was more relaxed, and happier too. It is the first time I have been here. I headed inside. It was similar to my bar, and more Jake than that stupid place he was working. The place was busy. It was lunchtime, after all.

I spot him behind the bar, laughing and chatting with a small group of girls who seemed to be enjoying it and getting all giggly around him. I chuckled to myself as I watched. It came with the job, and I don’t blame them for wanting his attention. He was very sexy. I took a seat at the bar, and he instantly turned around, smirking when he saw me.

“Sorry ladies, my gorgeous girlfriend is here. Enjoy your afternoon,” Jake said, smiling at him.
