Chapter thirteen.

It was a new week, sloan and I were already a fake couple. I told myself that I wouldn't fall for him no matter what and I was doing averagely okay.

I adjusted my hair as I waited by the door. This would make it the third time I'd be coming to Melanie's place. She has been trying so hard to be close to me, so much that it's making me quite uncomfortable because I wasn't used to people coming close to me.

She smiled brightly as she opened the door and hugged me. "Oh, it's good to see you too." I said as I hugged her back.

"I'm sorry I kept you waiting for too long, I was just getting dressed." She pulled me by the hand and led me inside. "I need your help." She said as we both sat down.

"What do you need?"

"There's this guy I like, but he doesn't like me back."

"So what am I supposed to do about that?"

"I need your help to get his attention."

"How on Earth am I supposed to do that?" I laughed but I noticed that she actually looked a little hurt. "Look Melanie, I don't know much about
