Agora's pov.

As I slammed the door shut behind me, a figure startled me. There stood the maid I had told Verya was to feed because her bones were sticking out. She looked much better than when I saw her the last time. Her hair looked fuller, and her flesh had come back from being shrunk into

her body. Immediately, her eyes met mine, she bowed sharply, and avoided my gaze.

"Long live the Alpha," she greeted, her head still facing the floor.

"What are you doing here?" I asked, staring at her suspiciously.

"I was just waiting for Seraphine to finish her training. There is something I just gave her," she answered.

"And what might that be?" I questioned, still not believing her.

"It's lady stuff, your Alpha," she continued, folding her hands together, still bowing.

"Rise," I ordered, my voice not coming down.
