“Have you seen Sophia’s post?”

“She’s throwing her birthday party this weekend. And shamelessly flaunting her relationship with Adrian. I think they’ve both gone insane.”

“No, they are insane.”

I listened as Summer kept cursing them and venting her anger about what had happened. We’d been talking on the phone for an hour after she suddenly called to tell me about Sophia’s post on Instagram.

She even sent me an invitation.

Shamelessly.

“Let it go. I honestly don’t care anymore,” I said flatly. “Whatever they do or say no longer affects me.”
