NADIA'S POV

Brrr!! The bell for the class rang, saving me from another hour of boring lectures. My head was spinning with a lot of things which I was supposed to remember but couldn't.

Not to mention the weird names the teachers had, the rules and schedules of the academy that were super strict and unnecessarily important people who were off-limits to God knows who and what.

Then, there was my situation that I hated. Everyone wanted to know who I was.

So far, I was stuck with Lyra. She had a blazing fireball energy that never died down, and she was super nice and playful. She knew the best places to sneak snacks between classes, the fastest escape route for bathroom breaks, and the seniors to avoid so I wouldn't have to deal with their drama.

I liked her. She made it easier to ignore the eye-peeling stares, especially from the guys.
