ARES'S POV

“I should be asking you that,” Dad said, quickly switching his face to being calm. 

My wolf twisted inside me like a whip of fire. “He has her scent,” he growled. 

I didn't hold back and walked up to him, demanding with anger. “Where. Is. She?”

Before he could answer, I caught another scent. It was feminine and headed for us. My head turned towards the scent and I saw Evelyn. 

She noticed her eyes locked on mine, widening in surprise. Her gaze slowly darted to Luca and finally to Dad. 

Then it clicked.

My heart dropped, realizing they had done it.
